Act 10 “Union Busting” (Hour 1)
At 2:00 PM, Dan Shafer discusses the Act 10 decision, followed by Dr. Ben Weston, Milwaukee County's Health Policy Director, at 2:30 PM.
Maggie also talks about unions and how the fire and police unions are the only ones benefiting from the Republican policy allowing them to bargain and negotiate, while others like teachers unions do have the same rights This led to a huge decrease in union membership after the law was passed by Gov. Walker in 2011.
Maggie also discusses opioid deaths and gun control and how that ties into the accidental deaths data banks.
