From Monday's show: Mondays With Matt: Remembering Great Public Servants (Hour 1)
A lot has happened in the past week, and Todd is eager to return to the mic after a few days off. Our friend Matt Flynn returns to the show to share his thoughts on a few of the legendary figures in American history that passed away while we were gone. Today, we celebrate the lives and legacy of former President Jimmy Carter and State Democratic Majority Leader Tim Cullen, among others.
In remembering Tim Cullen, we bring some audio from our final interview with him from September. His book, Wisconsin Gerrymandering: The Fight For Permanent Fair Maps and Why It Matters is still relevant and available for purchase from Little Creek Press.

Lesson Of The Year: Don’t Buy Air with Peter Rapine (Hour 1)
Today, Todd broadcasts live from the WRCE studios in Richland Center! Right off the bat, he is joined by his old boss, former Republican State Senate Majority Leader Dale Schultz. After catching up on football and hunting, Dale and Todd return to the ever-important topic of civility in politics. They also reflect on the impact of Scott Walker’s Act 10 on Wisconsin’s social structure and economy.
On the topic of treating each other with respect, Dale recommends the book Bowling Alone: The Collapse and Revival of American Community by Robert Putnam. This examination of American social trends from the year 2000 still rings true today, and it’s worth a read. If you’d rather watch a movie on that topic, Netflix is streaming JOIN OR DIE, a film based on the book and how to apply its lessons.
This week, Peter Rapine joins us an hour early for another week in review! As Managing Editor of eBaum’s World, he is always ready to share the craziest stories of real things that real people have done.

Weekly Best of Todd Allbaugh Show for Nov 23
From Thursday's show: Don't Be Distracted By The Clown Show (Hour 1)
Well, the clown show continues. Matt Gaetz has withdrawn from consideration for the position of Attorney General, all but confirming that the ethics report on him contains damning evidence. Also, according to Punchbowl News, Gaetz’s resignation from congress may only count for the current session that ends in January. He was elected to next year’s congress, and he will likely still be sworn in. Additionally, a police report on Secretary of Defense nominee Pete Hegseth was released today with details of sexual assault allegations against him.
However, the antics of Trump’s cabinet nominations are likely a distraction. While Americans are hearing all about sexual misconduct and trans rights, they may be missing the Trump administration’s plans to cut the Affordable Care Act. Many do not realize that the term “Obamacare” refers to the ACA, and that cutting it may put their health– or even their lives– in jeopardy.

Jesus Drives A Ferrari with Peter Rapine (Hour 2)
As we make our way into the opening weekend of gun deer hunting, Todd centers today’s edition of What’s Worse on a favorite deer camp cuisine: chili! Is it worse to add macaroni noodles or kidney beans to your chili? Also, tune in for Todd’s secret chili ingredient!
Aaron’s board game of the week is Gloom! Using unique transparent plastic cards, each player controls the lives of an eccentric Victorian family. The goal is to inflict the most suffering on your characters before they die a tragic death, and to make good things happen to your opponents’ characters. It’s a sad concept, but the satirical tone makes it a lot of fun.

Welcome To Crackhead Central with Peter Rapine (Hour 2)
Todd’s driver’s license expires on Monday, and he spent this morning waiting in line at the DMV to renew it. Your local DMV is likely busier than ever, due in no small part to increased demand and decreased availability. In some rural communities, they are open as infrequently as once a month! Is this part of a long-running GOP scheme to make it more difficult to acquire a voter ID? We can only speculate.
