Nate Olson

B’ Gosh! We’re in Oshkosh!

March 13, 2025

Nate Olson, a friend of the show and a leader in the community with Olson Legal Group, LLC in Oshkosh and Berlin, is back in the studio with the guys. He reminds us of his military service and talks a bit about the law he practices and some things his group can help clients with. He also shares great advice for end-of-life planning. We thank him for his involvement in the community and for his service to our country. Then we welcome the creative mind and community-minded Tavia Hopfensperger. She and her husband purchased the old fire station in Dale, and created Old Station 31 Spirits. Rob and Tavia explain what they do this way: from selecting premium ingredients and purest water to the meticulous milling, mash, fermentation, and distillation process, each step is a nod to tradition with a touch of modern artistry. With a family history in service to the community, their story AND their products, we're very thankful they joined us with the Maino & The Mayor Top Craft Pick Promotion. Make sure to vote for them!

Veterans Salute & Pickle & Bags

January 15, 2025

Jim and John get to meet the sponsor of our Veterans Salute, Nate Olson from Olson Legal Group, LLC. We learn his military story, deployment, and how he eventually got into law. He was from Fond du Lac, his wife was from Iowa, and they met at U.W. Oshkosh. After leaving the area, they both loved the area so much they came back to the area to start their lives together. This guy has great energy, and we're so thankful he's stepped up to help tell the story of veterans in Northeast Wisconsin.

Then the owner of Pickle & Bags, Jeff Ehrke, joins the guys to talk a bit about his business.  They're open 24/7 for reservations. With keyless door entry, 14,000 sq ft of versatile space, four courts, and a lively bar, this place has it all!
