First up this weekend, the Maggie Daun Show is joined by County Board Supervisor Marcelia Nicholson to talk about what it means to have Kamala Harris as the presumptive nominee of the Democratic Party.

The Presidential race just tightened up (Hour 1)
New polling is out and the Presidential race just got a lot closer. MKE County Board Chairwoman Marcelia Nicholson shares what it means to her to have VP Harris as the presumptive Presidential nominee. Chairwoman Nicholson looks forward to the DNC as a delegate.
Speaker Mike Johnson had to tell his party to stop mentioning VP Harris's ethnicity and gender. They did not listen very well.

Wisconsin 2024: Moving Forward!
Mark's talking with two guests today about how our great state is continually moving Forward!. First up is Chairwoman Marcelia Nicholson of the Milwaukee County Board of Supervisors. She comes from a background of education and brings a focus on equity initiatives to the county board. Marcelia emphasizes that we all do better when we all do better and when we work together forwards toward good.
For the second half hour, Mark is talking with Sarah Harrison, candidate for Wisconsin's 15th Assembly District, a brand new district created to break up our previously extremely gerrymandered state. Her campaign is focused on listening first before speaking: making sure she is in tune with the issues that really matter to the people she will represent.
