Mortgages & Pickleball
Kristen Ambos with Point Mortgage Realty is in the house to give advice on financing your new home. Kristen says things are starting to pick up, and we will likely see slowly falling mortgage rates, and a market that might start favoring buyers a bit more than has been the case for the last few years. Check out her podcast "Always On Point." It's great information! Then Jeff Ehrke, owner of Pickle & Bags in Oshkosh joins us from our Oshkosh Studio to talk about a fun tournament they have coming up this Saturday. John and Mike also ask Jeff if pickleball will become an Olympic sport. Maino think if it does, he has a chance to win a medal. Hmmm...

He also coaches wrestling, has a TV show focused on fishing, and is the focus of a movie called "Father Soldier Son." Then, our "rock and roll" mortgage specialist, Kristen Ambos is on fire over some of the mortgages she's had to "swoop in and save" over the last several weeks. A good reminder to work with someone knowledgable on the hundreds of programs that might be available to you. She has a great podcast called "Always On Point." Housing, Music and Mortgages
Crystal DeCleen from Ecumenical Partnership For Housing in Green Bay joins the show with Dr. Kim Shefchik from Doctors in Recital. EPH provides safety, stability, and solutions leading to self-sufficiency for families with children facing homelessness, and the Doctors in Recital show on Saturday helps raise money for their programs. Doctors in Recital is an evening of musical excellence put on by area physicians donating their time and talents to raise money for local causes. Then our mortgage guru, Kristen Ambos is in from Point Mortgage Corporation. She says she loves to "shop around" for programs that would benefit home buyers and shares a program we'd never heard of: a family-occupied mortgage. A family opportunity mortgage is a loan for a residential property bought for a parent or an adult child student or a special needs adult child who could not qualify for financing on their own.
