Crystal DeCleen from Ecumenical Partnership For Housing in Green Bay joins the show with Dr. Kim Shefchik from Doctors in Recital. EPH provides safety, stability, and solutions leading to self-sufficiency for families with children facing homelessness, and the Doctors in Recital show on Saturday helps raise money for their programs. Doctors in Recital is an evening of musical excellence put on by area physicians donating their time and talents to raise money for local causes. Then our mortgage guru, Kristen Ambos is in from Point Mortgage Corporation. She says she loves to "shop around" for programs that would benefit home buyers and shares a program we'd never heard of: a family-occupied mortgage. A family opportunity mortgage is a loan for a residential property bought for a parent or an adult child student or a special needs adult child who could not qualify for financing on their own.
