Today, Todd broadcasts live from UW-Milwaukee for another addition to the What Makes Wisconsin Great tour! UWM too often plays second fiddle to UW-Madison, but it deserves much more credit. Todd is joined by Chancellor Mark Mone, who has served in the role for 11 years and is stepping down this July to shepherd in new leadership. He conveys the importance of UW-Milwaukee as a level one research school and an accessible university for non-traditional students. 

We also welcome Kim Litwak, Dean of the College of Health Professions & Sciences to speak on how the University is working to address Wisconsin’s healthcare shortage. Veronica Burns, a current UWM nursing student, also chimes in on why she’s choosing this career path.
