Manufacturing & The Mulva Center

January 28, 2025

Our partners with the Fox Cities Chamber of Commerce helped connect us with Ann Franz, Executive Director of N.E.W. Manufacturing Alliance. Ann comes armed with details on their recent Economic Vitality Study. In basic terms, the study shows us the strength of manufacturing in Northeast Wisconsin and the recruitment need for this industry. She also worked in the U.P., so obviously, she and Maino can connect on that! Then Katy Compton with the Mulva Cultural Center swings by to promote a new exhibit called "Unofficial Galaxies", one of the largest private single collections of Star Wars memorabilia in the world! Then Bryan with Heights Pub & Parlor joins to celebrate their 1 Year Anniversary.

Maino and the Mayor is a part of the Civic Media radio network and airs Monday through Friday from 6-9 am on WGBW in Green Bay and on WISS in Appleton/Oshkosh. Subscribe to the podcast to be sure not to miss out on a single episode! To learn more about the show and all of the programming across the Civic Media network, head over to https://civicmedia.us/shows to see the entire broadcast lineup. Joining the guys from the Mulva Center for the Arts is Katy Compton to talk about the brand new Museum for All program that began on November 1st with other areas museum adopting the program. Anyone who is on SNAP, WIC or Badgercare health card and you'll receive reduced admission to the museums. Museums want everybody to come and enjoy the things that are brought in as these programs and exhibits are created for the community.
