Jimmy K
Bye Bye Leinies and Weatherpeople
In hour two, we talk briefly with a caller about last hour's topic of international takeovers, and she offers up another piece of media telling a story about such. The guys chat with James Kelly, our news correspondent up in Chippewa Falls, getting the scoop on Leinenkugel's brewery closing later today. Moving over to Wausau, we chat with Brittney Merlot, or Civic Media meteorologist, both about the weather, but also about the news that Allen Media is cutting its entire weather staff across all its stations, in Eau Claire, Wausau, and here in Madison. After talking more about Trump's desire to "make imperialism great again," we welcome in Jimmy K, in for Rökker, to preview what's on tap for Max Ink Radio and local music this weekend.
