Health & Heritage Hill
The hour starts off with Dr. Erin Stevens with Prevea Health. Her story goes well beyond her work in Northeast Wisconsin, she's very involved with a program to help doctors and surgeons in Bolivia. She works with a program called Solidarity Bridge. The work in partnership with the medical communities of Bolivia and Paraguay to increase access to safe, essential, and timely surgical care. A great story! Then Elizabeth Jolly-Haslitt is in the studio from Heritage. Hill. They have an event coming up on November 9th for Veterans Day. You can join them at Fort Howard to learn about the lives of soldiers and their families in the 1830s. Do some hands-on history as you march and drill, compare past military life with today, and write letters to modern-day servicemembers.
