In our NBC26 Neighborhood Focus, Meteorologist Cameron Moreland is in the studio. Besides talking about the weather in NEWisco, they also discuss his 3 Degree Weather Guarantee. Every day he predicts the temperatures within 3 degrees, NBC26 donates $100 to a local charity. After coming to Wisconsin, Cameron and his family thought they might stick around for a handful of years, but they fell in love in Northeast Wisconsin...and they're still here! He also shares that the Barneveld tornado in the early 80s is one of the reasons he became a meteorologist. Then Jason Lowe with the Oshkosh Mid-Morning Kiwanis swings in to talk about the NEW Top Dog contest that is going on and teaming up with several area breweries and shelters on this one. Folks can enter their dog in the contest, and everyone can vote online for their favorite NEW Top Dog! In the past five years, the Oshkosh Mid-Morning Kiwanis have raised $600,000 for all the services they provide to children in the community.

Former news reporter/anchor and current professor of media at UWGB, Danielle Bina, is on the show this morning! She and the guys talk about education in the past and in the present. But the conversation goes back to silverware and place settings. She also reminisces with Maino about the changes in media compared to what it's like today. Then, artist Nate Rose joins the group to talk about some of his local artwork. Some of it contains "tiny" paintings on the inside of Altoid containers. While his day job is in higher education, he loves doing landscapes, and his "tiny" art is amazing!
