In the second part of the hour we welcome Corinne Hendrickson and Sarah Kenzell from WECAN (Wisconsin Early Childhood Action Now) to talk about the mounting difficulties child care providers are facing in this state...spoiler alert, you make more money working at a doggy day care.

Maybe Something for the Kids? (Hour 2)
Two different groups are coming to the state Capitol this week to make one final pitch before the state budget is adopted. Republicans voted to kill off the Child Care Counts program. Parents, providers, and small business owners will be asking them to change their mind and not make childcare less affordable for families. And public education advocates will try to convince legislators and Gov. Evers to modify their deal that sends more money to voucher schools as well as public schools.
