LIVE From Lake Wissota: On Building Community (Hour 1)

May 23, 2025

Today, Todd joins us live from the lovely Kreitlow compound on Lake Wissota! Pat Kreitlow of Mornings With Pat Kreitlow and Civic Media News Northwestern WI Bureau Chief James Kelly join Todd on the back porch to talk about how national politics are affecting rural Wisconsin. They also talk about how important it is to genuinely connect with people, both for our own health and to better communicate the state of the world with them.

At the bottom of the hour, former NFL fullback and three time Badger B1G champion Bradie Ewing continues the theme of community building. Bradie’s focus is more on teambuilding in sports. In his view, a team is stronger if they can become a family.

The World Of Sports Is Always Active (Hour 1)

April 11, 2025

Tariffs continue to affect every industry around the world, including sex toys. Now, we can’t even afford to go screw ourselves!

We also hear a story of governmental overreach from political orphan and former Congressman Scott Klug. While Elon Musk and DOGE love to exaggerate government waste, it does happen. The solution is to apply common sense, not to indiscriminately cut programs.

At the bottom of the hour, three-time B1G champion and NFL fullback Bradie Ewing returns for an update on all things sports! He and Todd talk about the NCAA basketball championship, the upcoming NFL draft in Green Bay, and the LOVB Volleyball league. We wrap up the hour with Bradie talking about CheeseCon and turkey hunting.

Weekly Best of Todd Allbaugh Show for Mar 8

March 8, 2025

From Friday's show: Building Unity with Tim Cordon (Hour 1)

Are you looking for ways to get involved and support democracy in Wisconsin? At the top of today’s show, Tim Cordon of Building Unity Wisconsin joins us to talk about how everybody can do something to help. Tomorrow, at the state capitol, Building Unity Wisconsin is starting another leg of their March to Election Day Tour around the state. The organization is nonpartisan, seeking to bring people together in support of common sense rather than party talking points. Visit buildingunitywisconsin.org to learn more.

At the bottom of the hour, Todd talks sports with our friend Bradie Ewing! Both high school and college basketball are heating up as we near the big tournaments.

Mental health is important for everyone, but people often forget that athletes struggle as much as everybody else. The Big Ten Network just put out a piece on Carter Gilmore, a Badgers basketball player who stepped up to share his mental health journey. Greg Stiemsma, another basketball player, wrote an article about how his coaches helped him in and out of practice to work through his struggles.

The Fullback Is Back with Bradie Ewing (Hour 1)

February 7, 2025

Last night, candidates for Wisconsin’s State Superintendent election met for their first and only public forum. Strangely, incumbent Dr. Jill Underly did not show up to answer questions, providing a weak excuse for her absence.

At the bottom of the hour, we hear from our friend and fellow Richland Center native Bradie Ewing! His experience in Badgers and NFL football allowed him to meet people of extremely varied backgrounds, and he shares some of the things he’s learned from this diversity.

Expanding Our Circle with Lt. Gov. Sara Rodriguez (Hour 1)

January 24, 2025

Today, we are honored to welcome Lieutenant Governor Sara Rodriguez back to the show! We speak with her about Wednesday’s State of the State address from Governor Evers. She shares more details on how the Governor plans to address mental health in Wisconsin and why it matters. In his speech, Governor Evers also touched on immigration and the ways that national “mass deportation” rhetoric affects us in our state. Todd and Lt. Gov. Rodriguez both have a personal connection to this issue.

At the bottom of the hour, three-time Big 10 champion Bradie Ewing is back for another discussion on sports and positive thinking. In remembering the late Bob Uecker, Todd and Bradie reflect on the incredible impact that good sports broadcasters have on both players and listeners. Many people don’t realize that as sports teams travel, the players, coaches and broadcasters become family.

The Mount Rushmore Of WI Athletics with Bradie Ewing (Hour 1)

January 10, 2025

This Friday, Todd takes another moment to update us on the raging wildfires in California. Our friend LA Tom provides some more information from the ground. If you or someone you know are in the greater Los Angeles area, stay calm and pay attention to the news and your surroundings. If you’re able to donate to help victims of the fires, Time Magazine has a list of reputable charities that can best put your donations to use.

At the bottom of the hour, three-time Big 10 Champion and former NFL fullback Bradie Ewing returns to the show. He gives us his perspective on what the Packers face in the postseason. As an athlete who suffered from severe injuries in the NFL, Bradie has insight into what Jordan Love may be going through.

Todd also asks a fascinating question: if Bradie could pick any four coaches from Wisconsin athletics to immortalize on Mount Rushmore, who would he pick?
