Beth Parker

Remembering Iwo Jima

February 20, 2025

We're joined by Beth Parker, whose grandfather was in the military during the battle of Iwo Jima. Not only did he fight in the battle, he was brave enough to take a camera with him and document the story. Beth says that not only did he document it with his camera, but he was very willing to talk about it. It allowed her to learn more about what it was like for the soldiers overseas. You forget how young these men were...fighting for our country.

We also speak with Gary Grzesk, Head Coach of St. Norbert's Men's Basketball. He gives us an update on the season and a preview of some of the upcoming games.
