Guest John Koehler, a Vietnam vet, shares personal stories and underscores the importance of honoring veterans beyond anniversaries. Our great friend Ace Champion joins to discuss the upcoming Kids Cooking Championship, emphasizing the value of engaging youth in culinary arts. The event takes place during MeatFest at the Resch Expo Center on Saturday, May 31st.

Spencer & Ace
Two wonderful local artists are in the studio this hour. First, Spencer Nolan Young, who has painted the famous Packer fences for the past several years, cleats for the players, and many other projects in Northeast Wisconsin and all over the country. The guys try to get Spencer to open up about his plans for the upcoming draft, but Spencer keeps it close to the vest. Spencer also agrees to a fundraising project that Jim and John have created to raise money for the New Community Shelter and a Veterans' Breakfast project. Then, another great local artist, Ace Champion, pulls up with food, flutes and FIRE! He's planning a great cooking class at Paradise North Distillery this Thursday night! He also flambes some bananas foster. (He let Maino do the flambe-ing, and we were all a little worried).

It was 80 years ago today that the Battle of The Bulge took place in WWII, and 100-year-old veteran Jack Kraszewski joined the guys with memories of that very day. Not only did he serve our country, but he also came back and became a cheesemaker and later a brewer of Schlitz beer in Milwaukee. A wonderful gentleman that we are honored to have met. Then another guy we are honored to know, Ace Champion, joins to talk about a special event he has coming up this week. "Vibrations Of The Earth" takes place in Manitowoc this Friday evening.

Food & Music From Around The World brings food and music together in one big event. Those attending can celebrate global culture with a vibrant fusion of music and cuisine. Students from the culinary arts program at Preble High School will prepare dishes perfectly paired with the orchestra’s musical selections. Tickets are $49 per person.
