and also on the sports to stream of wxco.fm and the civic media app and of course if you miss

Either of the hours, you can also get them as a full podcast each and every day.

Uh, go to wxco.fm and then under the news right there on the front, you can see it.

You'll see chat home show for whatever date you're looking for.

And if you missed yesterday's show, again, featuring David Crowley, the Democratic candidate for governor and Milwaukee County executive.

And also our suite of discussion with, uh, Lori Magley and Eric Peterson.

You can get the entire show right there as well.

Very good conversations too.

Absolutely.

We're gonna hear part of the conversation with Laurie and Erica coming up in the next segment, but I wanted to talk about Yesterday it was the fifth anniversary of January the 6th.

I saw this on channel nine last night as I was going to bed

and you also know as well that history is something that's very important to me and having correct history, but that the government of the United States of America would launch on their website a complete

Make believe history of what happened five years ago yesterday is outrageous The White House yesterday on the fifth anniversary of January the 6th Launched a website again a government website official United States government website praising Donald Trump

for his handling of the January 6th, 2021 attack and then also simultaneously blaming Democrats for having quote, masterfully reversed reality and quote, and saying Trump corrected a historic wrong in pardoning those charged with crimes related to the stormy to the building.

Oh, good grief.

You can't tell us black is white, rain is sunshine.

or anything else that is completely opposite of the truth and expect us to let you get away with it.

That's wrong.

Again, we talk about it all the time.

There are disagreements.

We will have disagreements on policy.

We'll have disagreements on how to perceive different things that happen in our world.

But you can't just go around and make things up.

And and the thing that also really is annoying is that this is done under the official auspices of the United States government through the United States government website and White House website that is being paid for by the American people by you and by myself and I would think the smart thing and of course keep me giving

Advice to Donald Trump is probably not the something that he wants to hear or anything else But I would have thought on January the 6th anniversary.

You just keep your mouth shut You don't try to remind people of what happened.

You don't make a brand new website and Then make up a bunch of lies.

I'll get people like myself and others talking about it to try to let people know exactly what did happen

Horrible day in history.

It was a mob that went and broke windows They threatened that hang the vice president of the United States Because he was not going to put the fix in to overturn the election on this website as well Trump again claims that the 2020 election was stolen if he keeps saying it over and over again he went to court many dozens of times and nothing ever came of it but

This website blames Democrats for certifying a fraud-ridden election, and it also fumes over the work of the House January 6th committee.

It even accuses the United States Capitol Police.

They always talk about the conservatives, the far right, about how they support law enforcement, except in this case.

They basically throw the U.S.

Capitol Police under the bus by saying they escalate attentions.

And then this...

This is all just so fictional, they write on this website, I'm looking at it right now, quote, with his triumphant return to the White House.

President Trump wasted no time writing one of the darkest wrongs in modern American history.

On Inauguration Day 2025, he issued sweeping pardons and commutations for the vast majority of January 6th defendants, patriotic citizens who had been viciously overcharged, denied due process, and held as political hostages by a vengeful regime."

It's just absolute nonsense because none of it's true.

He just

And the thing about this as well is when a lot of the criticism came out yesterday White House communications assistant Steven Chung.

He is a right-wing provocateur Donald Trump took him from the white right-wing fringes and put him in his administration He is now trying to claim that the site was made as a trolling effort Writing that he couldn't believe media outlets actually fell for our trap

Give me a break.

Just ridiculous.

I mean, this and the thing about it as well, and I think that Jamie Raskin, a congressman kind of put his hand on top of the truth here.

He said that Trump recognizes he has not shaken January 6th.

And I think deep down Donald Trump knows that ultimately the truth about January 6th will be in the history books.

and that it will not look good on Donald Trump's historical record along with many other things.

But the idea of either, late to late lying.

Trying to fabricate the details to what makes him look a good, everybody else look a bad.

That's pretty much all he's doing.

He's trying to say that, you know, Democrats are the enemy.

I'm the hero of this story.

That's all it

is.

Well, he should not be using the United States.

government websites for that kind of activity.

That's for certain.

Got an information update coming up.

And what do you think yesterday of our interview with Laurie Magley and also Eric Peterson?

Enjoy that?

You, Mr.

Theater?

Yeah, I think it was a really amazing interview, especially hearing Eric's background of how he's been involved in theater and TV shows.

And I really like the point he made about, you know, not...

Trying to make a theater into a professional career because he's right.

It is very challenging.

I mean and That's exactly why My parents didn't want me to major in theater because it's not an actual job I mean personally, I just do theater as a hobby.

Mm-hmm by a point of other things that keep me, you know, I'm busy and productive I mean

I work at two different radio stations.

I'm also a janitor.

I write, my stories, I go to Planet Fitness.

So I do have a life outside of theater.

Theater is what I, is, I like to think of it as a-

It's an outlet for your creativity, that's for

sure.

Escape.

from the chaos of

reality.

And every day, there's more chaos of reality.

And we will talk

about some of that chaos

coming up in the next hour, because there's always a little bit of chaos to discuss.
