And welcome back.
It is the WXCO morning report part of mornings attack right low on 98.9 WXCO Friday morning.
I am Chad Holmes Ian Welsh across the way Ian.
Good morning.
Good morning, Chad.
We will have more with you coming up, but a couple special guests in here this morning guys that
you've
been asking me about folks.
I know you've been asking me about folks weeks.
What's going on with the wassa business show?
Why aren't
we getting new episodes every single
week?
These are busy
guys and the thing is
Tomorrow morning, a brand new episode of the Wausau Business Show.
And to talk all about it, Ryan and Paul, guys,
good to see
you.
Hey.
Hey.
Hey.
Not a plus for Ian, too.
Hey, man.
But guys, great to have you on.
Yeah.
Good to be here.
Good to be
back.
Hey.
I know that, let's jump right in, because when you talk about big numbers, people get excited.
And you're going to be talking about a big number tomorrow morning on the show.
Is that correct?
Well, yeah.
And we're coming down to the kind of final phase of the friend of a friend competition.
The nitty gritty.
It's a competition that we launch to recruit people to live and work in Wausau, Wisconsin, USA.
And so the people that have entered this competition, there's three or four finalists now that have recruited people to live and work in Washington, USA.
And they've been working on it for months.
And we're ready to bring them in and announce within the next couple of episodes, the winner.
So they're all gonna come in and the winner will be awarded a big check for $10,000.
10 big ones, 10
grand.
That is impressive.
And just as impressive is...
these folks have actually recruited people to move to our area.
We're here to Losa, USA.
That's right, that's right.
Yeah, they've been working on it for months and we're going to talk to each one of them.
The problem that we have now is that there's a tie.
So we have to get into some negotiations.
To figure out a tie breaker of some sort.
Yeah, we're going to do a race, a foot
race.
I saw a sprint you saw our book here in the lobby.
Yeah,
how about was a trivia or something?
Was a trivia.
Yes, it's not a bad idea.
I
see you guys rolling your eyes because Chad's got this idea.
We'll credit you.
What a cool idea.
Play a game of poker with
you.
I would lose the 10 grand pretty quickly
right
there.
But real interesting stuff.
I mean, because it's been a while since you remember you announced this.
Hold on, go what's up.
You made the announcement.
Oh, at least six months ago.
Yeah.
And we wanted people to have plenty of time.
And it took people a while to ramp up and things like that.
But we now have three or four finalists that have recruited.
Well, they're getting their final numbers and they're tabulating.
But one to two people that they've recruited each.
So they're going to come in, talk about how they did it, talk about their situation.
And then we're going to have to figure out how to do a
tiebreaker.
Is the first person.
on this week's show or is this coming up?
They're all gonna come together.
They're all gonna come together.
Yeah, not this weekend, not tomorrow, but within the next couple of episodes.
Very cool, very cool.
And we have not had an episode regularly.
We were doing them weekly for a number, over a year, year and a half.
I think the first year you never missed.
I mean, it was a 50 straight week.
But I was very impressed.
I mean, it was really something the way that you guys were going, because anybody who listens to your show realizes how much work you do put into it.
in terms of the production value, the guests that you bring.
It's not an easy process.
We have real jobs.
Right.
This is just something that we volunteer.
On the side.
Yeah.
100% of our proceeds from our sponsors go to the Community Foundation of Northern Wisconsin, but we have real jobs at a place called Rock and Industrial.
Not that this isn't a real job.
It's just not our real job.
I'm going to share a
secret with the folks out there.
OK.
What I do, and I think what you do with the show.
We do it because we really love doing it.
That's true.
I mean, it
really is fun.
And I imagine that's really what got you into this.
Well, when you're calling sports, I know that you love calling sports and doing the play by play.
And when you can combine, like we do our love of business and we consider that a sport, the sport of business.
Because there are winners and losers.
There are, yeah.
Exactly.
So when we combine our love of business with our love of Wausau and our love of radio, it's been a good combination.
Yeah.
But we haven't been able to do it every week.
because we've been so busy with work.
Right.
Our job.
Yeah.
If you want to be a winner in the business world, sometimes you got to, you know.
You really got to work at it.
Yeah.
The fun part goes by the wayside once in a while.
Yeah.
But as we look ahead, what's going on?
You mentioned a couple names.
Perk My Year or
something.
Yeah.
This is a really special weekend.
So tomorrow we'll debut part one of our East Bay special.
Yeah.
And there were three people that were instrumental in.
in taking East Bay public and really growing and blowing up East Bay, which became a national phenomenon and what we call WASA's biggest brand that's ever been exported from the WASA area.
It's a household name.
Across the country and beyond.
And so tomorrow is part one of our East Bay special and it features Harry Colecourt.
Yeah, former CEO of East Bay.
And also former, he founded, he was one of the founding team members of Line Tech in WASA.
and a bunch of other companies through Apogee.
Apogee Group, Applebee's.
Oh, you started.
He started Applebee's.
No, it's Apogee Group.
Close.
But Harry Colecourt will join us.
And he's very good friends with Art and Rick.
And those three, Art and Rick started East Bay.
And then Harry joined on.
And they eventually took the company IPO on the New York Stock Exchange and cashed out with a lot of money.
And it's one of Wausau's big.
business successes and fascinating story at that too yeah successful story we recorded it already and it is a
hell of an interview by the way
I think the percentage of people that still live in this area that at one time or another worked in that East Bay phone bank.
Oh my gosh.
I did.
I didn't know that.
I know it's like,
I mean, you talk about a story that kind of connects with everybody.
I think
the East Bay story connects with almost everybody that either grew up in this area or still in this area because at one time or another, I think everybody had the part time job of being part of the phone bank.
Or they were working in the distribution center.
almost everyone I know is first job was at East Bay.
There were a lot of rumblings when we were in high school about kids that will work in the distribution center out there on like 72nd Avenue.
And the rumor was at the high school in Wausau West in the 90s that certain kids that worked there may have been taking a five finger discount.
Uh-oh.
You know what I mean?
Yeah, that was floating around.
You don't remember that?
Yeah, you remember that.
It's like, oh, we're not going to name names.
No, I'm not going to name.
We don't even know the names.
It
sounds like you're wassa business rumors right
there.
Yeah, it is.
River has it.
I'm substantiated, I guess, and it's a 30-year-old rumor.
Yeah, we never knew, but that was a word on the street, anyway.
Right.
So Harry Colchord will join us tomorrow, an exceptional business leader in the annals of wassa history.
And we'll have a few more minutes with Ryan.
and Paul from the Wassa Business Show coming up in about 22 minutes.
So we'll be back at 722.
But more pack right low coming up next here on 98.9 WXCO.
I am Chad Holmes, along with Ian Welsh.
It is Friday morning, the 17th day of October of 2025.
And to wrap up the work week, we're getting an opportunity to talk to Ryan and Paul, the host of the Wasp Business Show.
Again, you can catch the Wassa Business Show each and every Saturday morning from 8 until 9 a.m.
And of course, you can also get it as a podcast by going to wxco.fm, civicmedia.us, go to the show pages, go to the weekly shows, and be able to listen to all the previous 60 plus Wassa Business Shows that have been on the air since that show got underway well over a year ago.
And we're talking about what Brian and Paul have lined up.
for tomorrow and coming up as well, generally on the Wasta Business Show.
We were talking in our first segment about a special interview that will be starting tomorrow on the Wasta Business Show, involving one of the co-founders of East Bay and East Bay with so much connection to all of us here in Central Wisconsin.
Did I say that right?
I think so.
You got to be careful with that one.
If you were to have a top five list or whatever it would be of incredible business stories in the history of our area, that would, I would think, be right at the top.
East
Bay's got to be number
one or certainly top five.
I can't think of many others that would even be competitive.
Because, I mean, you talk about it just truly.
I mean, they touched every bit of the athletic.
I mean, when people wanted to get those Jordans, where do they go?
I mean, back in the day.
And
jerseys and high school teams
are supported.
I mean, he talks
about meeting Phil Knight, who was the founder of Nike and he gets into those details tomorrow on the show.
And
so it's really, really fascinating.
And they did an exceptional job with East Bay.
And I mean, I can remember one time we were walking around Brooklyn because we were over there in New York for business.
And we said,
Have you heard of Wausau, Wisconsin?
Wausau, Wisconsin.
And 95% of the people said no.
A couple of people said, yeah, we know Wausau because of Wausau insurance.
Yeah, the one guy was big on Wausau insurance.
But
if we would have asked each of those, I wish we could go back and do it all over, because if we would have asked each of those people whether or not they had heard of East Bay.
It
would have been 95 the other way.
Yeah, exactly.
So
East Bay really became a household name and a cultural phenomenon exported from right here in Wausau.
And we're looking forward to talking to Harry Colecourt.
Part one, because we're going to have part two.
And that's going to be Art and Rick.
They got a new book out that's going to be published on the Harvard Business Review platform.
So looking
forward to part two of this, too.
Fantastic.
So that's tomorrow morning, 8 to 9 AM.
And of course, you can always get it as a podcast as well.
We might be either going to our website or going to Spotify or all the other podcast platforms by Subscribing to the wassa business show in fact if you're somebody that's new to the wassa business show you can go back in so many interesting I mean your guys have really had so many interesting folks on a Get a question in mind.
You've done this.
How many how many shows now is this?
What shows we're on
64
I think 63 or 64.
Yeah
Up to this point, is there been a most intriguing discussion that you've had?
You're our favorite or best, but maybe intriguing
go ahead Paul Wow, what would I say?
I mean we always go back to some of the early ones because they were memorable just because we were starting off like a David Anthony Hummer Yeah, and that was a that was a fun one.
There's just so many local
success stories in business and beyond, that it's hard to pick one.
I mean, we kicked
it off
with Miss America,
which was
fun.
It was fun to have her on.
And then we sent her off to Connecticut, or wherever she ended up, to be a nuclear engineer at the end of the show, actually.
But I mean, so many.
This one tomorrow with Harry is...
I think going to be right up there with one of the best.
Yeah, I told my wife last night, maybe it's recency bias, but I said, I think this is my favorite interview
that
we've done.
Well, there is a reason to make sure you're up tomorrow morning early from 8 till 9 for the WASA business show.
One of
my favorites, I will say, just add to the list real quick, if I may, was when we went bar hopping and interviewed the local bartender celebrities around WASA.
That
was cool.
Yeah, that was fun.
Fantastic.
Anything else about tomorrow you want to pitch before we wrap it up?
Paul?
Andy, it's going to be another exciting nonstop madness of a show tomorrow.
I'm
looking forward to it.
It should be great.
Ryan
and Paul.
Hey, hey.
Great to talk to you.
That's us.
Great to talk to you.
Thanks for listening, everybody.
I love you all so much.
I'm clapping for Chad.
And Ian.
And Ian.
Again, Ryan and Paul, the host of the Wausau Business Show.
As I said to them at the start of the conversation, I know so many of you always look forward to a new edition of the Wausau Business Show on Saturday mornings, and they've been very busy recently.
Lots going on with the guys in their business lives.
But tomorrow morning, another chance to hear the Wausau Business Show, a brand new episode.
And again, the start of a really interesting discussion with the founders of East Bay, and also again,
Moving closer and closer to giving away that $10,000 that they put up about six months ago to folks who are trying to bring more people here to Wausau, Wisconsin USA
coming up in just a little bit here on the program during our WXO morning reports.
We'll be looking ahead to the weekend sports wise.
The Milwaukee Brewers, the Green Bay Packers, the Wisconsin Badgers, even the Milwaukee Bucks getting set to start off their season.
We'll be talking Wisconsin sports with Paul Miklick, and of course Paul Miklick, head coach of the Newman Catholic Cardinals, and we have a high school football twin bill between tonight and tomorrow as the Wausau West tonight will be at River Falls.
You'll be able to hear that game live, starting with the pregame show at 635 and the opening kickoff at seven o'clock right here on 98.9 WXCO.
And then tomorrow, it will be the Newman Cardinals taking on Frederick.
Never been to Frederick, but we'll be going to Frederick tomorrow, 1235 for the pregame and.
1 o'clock for the opening kickoff.
So again, big high school football weekend and a big sports weekend.
And we'll talk to Paul Mickley all about it as we continue at 752.
More of warnings to pack right little coming up here on 98.9 WXCO.
If you want me, you can find me left of center off of the strip in the outskirts and in the fringes.
WXCO morning report part of morning the pack right low on 98.9 WXCO online at WXCO FM mobile devices and Alexa by searching WXCO and on the civic media app with Ian Welsh I'm Chad Holmes Friday morning
17th of October heading towards the weekend, 55 degrees here in downtown Wausau under fair skies.
And time to talk a little Wisconsin sports heading into the weekend.
Paul Mickley, the Newman Cardinal head football coach.
Good to see you.
Good to see you this morning, Chad.
Ready for the weekend and ready for some road trips heading to River Falls tonight, heading to Frederick tomorrow.
So I'll be on the road a lot.
You should stay over there.
I Well, it's better the to be on the bus like everybody else that way you don't have to drive That's true save a little gas money for the company very good thing, but let's talk generally about No, the sports scene here going into the weekend last night the the Brewers continue their offensive struggles what they're hitting 101 in this series, which is not quite good enough I mean give up three runs in a game
Give up two runs in the first game.
I mean, normally the pitching's been good enough, but this is what happens in the playoffs.
The cream of the crop usually rises with the pitching and maybe ultimately that little bit, you call it the talent gap.
I think the superstar gap has kind of shown up a little bit here in this series.
Yeah.
I mean, it's kind of like major league, you know, they win the World Series when they.
with the Uke.
They were in the World Series.
It was the journey to get to the playoffs and there's a lot of other things around it.
And unfortunately they picked a bad time to, you know, face a team that's really pitching well and they're off balance.
And you can just see they look a little lost at the plate.
And the reality of it is some of their...
Big money guys are making plays and what the Brewers do have has not, quite frankly.
It's hard to see a way out at this point.
You talk about the inner corner metaphor, it's kind of there.
You're gonna go out there.
They're gonna I mean I would not be surprised if they win today because again I I thought they're gonna win yesterday This team when they whenever this year I thought they might be on a bit of a slide that might be going the wrong direction They find a way hopefully they can find at least one more way because again I mean I was saying to someone you find that first one then all of a sudden all you need is one more in Los Angeles and then you go back to Milwaukee I mean there's always that route there.
It's such a
big mountain to climb.
Where's Chad Holmes, the guy that I know?
This guy is
positive.
Ian, where's
Chad this morning?
Because I can't believe, I can't believe this guy.
Well, I mean, come on, you gotta look at that.
The reality of it is after that first game.
I
do like the optimism though.
I do
like the optimism.
But you're right, the first game was kind of there at
the end.
It
was there.
There was a
chance.
That was the chance.
And you felt that if they didn't get the second game, at least it was myself, there was gonna get, they were gonna get swept.
that that's that was my feeling not that my it matters but
even though they have the best record in baseball things still have to go right for them in this series would that be fair to say I mean they were still the big underdog in this series even being the home field advantage team well the Dodgers didn't think so and everybody talked about six and all during the regular season that was the regular season I mean I I thought that was probably that was not
Oh, yeah, six and all that means we'll be ten and all know it doesn't mean to be ten and all I I remember actually I was in Vegas when they play the Dodgers during the season and I'm walking through the casino and They were down in the day game.
I think it was the last game getaway day bad Milwaukee, so I sat down and there's a bunch of Dodger people around there because that's out West and Watching that game and they'd seen boy.
It was like magical because sweeping the Dodgers.
I mean it's like this is unbelievable
They need a little bit of that magic right now, but I just, I do hope that they win today.
I just think that you would like to get one.
I think that's- You wanted to.
I mean, that's what the goal was after that, especially that first one.
That was the goal to try to, I think, I know their goal is to win it, but the realist is like, okay, can we take one and just melt it a little bit more?
And I mean, who's pitching today, Chad?
Cortana?
Probably gonna get the majority of the the big innings you think maybe Tobias
maybe anybody maybe
one inning everybody
There's something really odd That you have to go to a court an opener Two and three times in a series.
I just I don't I don't know I got to say that I got a bit of a thrill
seeing a guy throw a complete game the other night.
Yeah, I mean, I understand what he's doing.
I do.
No, no, I mean, I
mean, you're exactly right.
It
hasn't worked, but I mean,
but you're right.
They don't have a good, they don't have any guy.
You can say, okay, we'll go out there and get a six innings.
I mean, I mean, Perot almost got you a six innings, but that's it.
I mean, even Mizraki last night.
Yeah, he was really good.
I mean, you've got about five innings, about five innings, somewhere in that general area, so.
Four, I think.
Just over four.
But in his situation, with Freeman, you know, when they had one out and a guy on and pitch number two was a strike and it was missed, and then he fouls the next one off and it's one, two, and then he ends up walking them, you know.
And that ended up,
being the end form, you know what I'm saying?
Being in the ninth form, I don't think he got another out.
Actually, I know he didn't get another
out.
Of course, you know that.
Don't I know he went five innings
five exactly.
Okay, cuz I didn't know I know
I just like to point out when I said was close I didn't
get to see the first inning so I didn't know if he pitched two or one-thirds of an inning
I saw I sense excuses.
I'm looking around.
Where are you?
Excuses coming from
I figure Ashley
would get a whole inning at least yeah, that's you ask a guy for one inning You hope to get one inning, right?
Not a third.
We'll be back with Paul Mickley at 822 talk some football
As we get set for the weekend Badgers and number one Ohio State Packers taking on Arizona that's coming up at 822 here on WXEL
If you're not in this situation, if you've never been there before, you have no idea.
And that's okay.
And we've, I don't know if we've ever been here, but we went to Stratford about, I don't know, give or take.
15 years ago and we basically had 13 guys and 11 man and we didn't win that game but we played tremendously hard and all those kids came through.
So that's probably the closest we've been to as thin as we've been.
And, you know, we're gonna go do everything we got.
One thing that
has stood out this year is that, and I mentioned this, I think a couple of weeks back about when it seems like every time this group has been down, they got up.
They've had that, that rocky mentality that they make and say, stay down, stay down, but no, they get back up and you've had a number of these kids who have been asked to move into different positions.
Every one of them, it seems to have just put their arms around the challenge and succeeded brilliantly.
The great thing is,
The practices have been fun, enjoyable.
The kids have taken what we have given them and put them in the best situation.
And you're right, that's what you're saying is that they're doing everything and they're enjoying it.
And the younger guys, most of these were seniors or have been seniors.
And most of these younger guys are getting the opportunity to play playoff football.
And hopefully that will build in the off season and next year and things like that.
And you can go and play a Frederick team and see how you can compete.
those are the things that you, you learn and, but they're having fun.
They're enjoying themselves and they're, um, you know, they love coming off her practice and, um, they're, they're having energy and, and they're, they're, you know, we're going to, to, to win a football game.
Um, and, um, that's their attitude.
What about Frederick?
What has jumped out about this team six and two this season?
Uh, they've earned their home field for a first round playoff game.
in terms of the preparation when you've looked at the film, what's jumped out about Frederick?
Defensively very aggressive.
They come with that four man line, they got a big guy in the middle of 300 pounders, that's where they can move.
They got two edge guys that are really good, that come off the edge and they're attacking and they're flying around, they're athletic.
A lot of these guys, we scouted when they were siren, when we played siren in the semifinals.
three years ago, and some of these guys were freshmen playing as freshmen, and Siren beat up on them pretty good, but a lot of these guys were freshmen playing.
and are some of these guys and offensively they can pass the ball.
Well, as they can throw the deep ball, they can throw the outs, they can, they have good receivers and offensively the line is big and they move guys and they do a great job and they got good running backs.
And so what we're hoping to slow them down, that's our job and we're going to, you know, we feel comfortable with what we're putting in.
We just got to go execute
and see what we can do.
And I guess finally I think we should.
Apologize to sully since I can't be on sully show.
I'm sure he's listening after the wrap-up of his show earlier today.
So solve I know cultural make it up to you later on right?
Yeah, we'll We'll take one of the shows sometime sometime down the road.
Very good.
Good luck against Frederick.
Thanks, Jeff
Head coach of the cards Paul McLeod will come back.
Get you ready for the opening kickoff new mccardinal playoff football on 98.9 w xeo And we're clear
That was about nine and a half minutes.
You have to call them up early in the week, they thought.
WXCO morning report part of mornings with pack right low on 98.9 WXCO talking Wisconsin sports final segment of the work week and that's time to get ready for again another big Wisconsin sports weekend and Football wise I was talking to one of our folks from Madison came down for our open house yesterday to show how Difficult things are right now down in Madison.
He said that he got offered some of the what one of those main
Club seats in Madison for the games So he said hey would you like to have the tickets for the Ohio State game tomorrow for like in the I don't know what he called the Cardinal Club something I forget what it is But yes, it's not a good feeling right now down in Madison and it I know they have a buyout and there's it's Not inexpensive, but if the things keep going I mean, it's just it's getting toxic, isn't it?
Yeah, I don't even know where to you know, they're still getting some recruits and that's a crazy thing is So are they?
They don't want to pay the buyout and they they really truly believe that he's gonna bring in talent Enough talent to win.
I mean, I I don't I wish I had the answer
and I feel the same way I to be honest with you It's one of those things where I don't like to you know chop and you know, that's the okay having a bad run and we're gonna fire the coach because
Again, I hate to think that some of that money is going to cause problems in other athletics.
You know, you just don't like to think about that.
And at the same time, look fickle.
is not a bum.
I mean, people may think he is, but he did at Cincinnati was not an accident.
And the guy knows college football.
But for whatever reason, and one of the big reasons is that we talked about this last two years is the schedule turned really tough.
You talked about it two years ago that that was the year he could have set a foundation by having a great first year.
The schedule was there.
I think you kind of nailed it right from the very beginning.
And now they're going through this difficult time.
I don't know whether or not, I mean, there's still part of me that thinks in the back of my head, but if you get through it, maybe he can still make something happen in this job.
But it just feels like there's so much negativity around it right now from the outside.
Hopefully within the program, they're keeping it somewhat sane, but the way they play last week makes you think, man, something's not right.
Every time that you think that they've, and we've said it, hit rock bottom, there's been a basement.
how they performed against Iowa is you'd have to think it's concerning, but how bad it was against Iowa and not to have done it and not to have gotten rid of them?
That's telling me I don't think they're getting rid of them during the course of the year.
Were you on Sunday half expecting to pop on and see Fickle Fired?
I kind of was, I was like.
When we were watching the film at that time and...
Carl goes to me, goes, well, Franklin's gone from Penn State.
I was expecting to hear him say, Fickle's gone from Wisconsin.
You know, I mean, that's kind of half.
Because you think back to when they had that Illinois game, when they, when McIntosh got rid of Paul Christ,
right up, right away, next day.
And my thought process is,
that everybody knows this is not going to get better this year.
No.
I mean, it's an ugly schedule here coming up.
Correct.
So do you not do it because what are you, what are you, can you do any more damage that's been done?
So do you let him, let him don't bring somebody else in and have to take this and take the abuse for the next whatever weeks and then start over?
Or do you really think that he is going on the right?
Cause this would be one of the most incredible.
If he stayed, I think this would be one of the most incredible stories ever if he came back and he turned this thing around.
Yep.
I, I mean, that's just my because it would be because I mean, right now the headwinds are just as they're, they're gale force winds that are in the face of pickle right
now and no wind possibility and.
In the back of my mind, I'm like, you know, it takes time people like God takes time to get your stuff.
And well, the only thing is the Indiana coach, right?
Do not
not in this era of college football.
You get but that also means you better get it right quickly.
It's one of those situations.
You got to get it right right away.
There's no because he saw what happened at Belichick.
He brought in the wrong.
He cleared out like like signal like Indiana did with Signati and everything worked for them.
Everything's not worked for Belichick.
So I mean basically these new coaches come in and they just run everybody off and they bring in other guys They're get it right the first time.
Yep.
And is this a recruiting thing now?
I'm talking like Sol here.
Is this a recruiting thing where they they do have a good class coming?
That they don't want to lose those guys.
I sure
hope they get off.
Court I'm tired of this quarterback for a year thing.
I mean, I think that's that and they've been unlucky with their quarterbacks injury
was very unlucky
But at the same time bring in a senior every year.
It's like I I don't I think you're asking for trouble in that respect it worked for Russell Wilson
I know I can see your eyes.
Yes.
Yes
real quick quickly Packers and and the cards coming up on on Sunday
that win last week and since it ain't looking better after last night that Joe Flacco found the fountain of youth, didn't
he?
I always thought he was a good quarterback if you put talent around any guy can really but he's one of
those guys that's a statue but if you if you protect your statue he can find your guys.
I mean he's not Aaron Rodgers but he did win a lot of games in the NFL and he knows how to get rid of the ball quick and he's got receivers and he's you know one of the best if not the best and throw him the ball.
And
what about Sunday?
I mean the Cardinals are they've been losing a lot of close games.
They're not a bad football team
Was it the four four points or something?
Yeah,
every one of these games.
It's been like, you know, just against pretty good teams to even last week It's the Colts on the road.
They had that game and then close one at the end So, I mean, I don't think this is a pushover by any means.
I think it would be a very competitive game on
Sunday Yes, you gotta get that question and Ian
That's right.
What I go down
Ian yes tomorrow the WIA a high school football playoff brackets are released Okay in each of the seven eleven player divisions.
How many teams are in the playoffs?
Okay, your answer your choices are 16 24 or 32 I'm gonna say 24 32 I think I won right I think you better think this guy cuz I forgot all about it
Thank you for reminding him.
I was I wish
I would have
helped you
with the answer
You would have known that one, but Ian have a good weekend.
We'll see you Monday You should have a good weekend everybody and we'll see Paul Mickley tomorrow and Frederick All right back to morning to a pack right low next on WXEL
So by searching WXC.
Thank you for coming back in.
Good morning.
Thank you for having me.
It is the month of I but let me ask you about the best advice generally that they
claim to love inside report agencies that are
be having the tools and having the understanding of of why things happen and to be able not to have a number go up but actually go down.
I know this will be a hard question, but I was put simply why why in 2025 are we seeing that number?
Literally we let people's and they
For then dot dot dot whatever reasons
it
may be in order to ultimately prosecute it feels as though they just maybe one of the core
Problems is able to change so their family members and they use the jail, but it doesn't
provide any incentive for that person to change.
I can do whatever I want regardless of how much
it
Yeah, on a pretty regular basis, when someone sends a donation into the women's community, it comes with a note that says, sees an ex-victims feel left.
That definitely is a positive.
We receive
assistance and.
It frankly hits me hard when I think about, when you talked about the people that have no place to go, it could be fine to go.
I mean, I don't, is there anything you can share to maybe add perspective?
to why the importance of the women's community and other shelters throughout the country and the world are so vitally important.
They
aren't by someone that they care about and that they believe love them.
And I'm sorry
for... They blame themselves.
They're like, I'm really just trying to figure it out.
It gets more complex when you have children.
So they're often... What we all do, even in healthy realms, are just like...
Maybe just a question that kind of popped into my mind when there's times of whether it is Economic upheaval times of recession to buddy even a lot of
people who choose to use harm and manipulation make relation, but again, I've been
