High school volleyball in the area tonight matches include Cuba City at Mineral Point, Iowa Grant at Fenimore, Boscobel at Southwestern and Darlington at Riverdale.
It's also tonight, Weston at Seneca, the Ridge and Valley, DeSoto at Lafarge and Wozika Steuben at North Crawford.
Platteville is at Lancaster in the Southwest Conference and Prairie du Chien plays at River Valley for the Black Walks homecoming volleyball.

They will have some special events, including the digs for Briggs event between the matches that'll go on tonight, which will benefit the Briggs Maxwell Scholarship Fund.

Tonight in the High School Soccer, it's Prairie Deer Sheen Co-op School playing at River Valley, Columbus at Wisconsinites, Barnabelle, Portage Point at its sock prairie, Fort Atkinson at Reedsburg, and Sparta will be at Richland Center.
I talked earlier today with coach Tom Stadler of the Hornets Soccer Team.
So tonight we'll be playing Sparta, the JV place at five, and then before our varsity game at 7 p.m.

I talked to coach Kyle Kelly about Saturday's homecoming victory over Brookwood.
He's had our defense.
I always played really well.
If it was Brett Coaching, they'd always be really well coached, so they did awesome.
Played a

You stopped the pass.
That was your main goal, wasn't it?
Yeah, that was the main goal, and they succeeded.
I think they had a few interceptions, and except then the offense kind of went off in the second half, which is kind of cool to see.
When you get ready for this week, what stands out in the Scouting Report about Cashton?
They're always going to be really big and physical and well-coached, so they're actually going to offensively.
They're kind of like us, so they want to pound the ball, then pass strategically when the opportunity arises.

I think his feel for the game and understanding the offense and just really is a great feel.
I feel like as a route runner finding the voice and the defense and knowing when to like throttle down on certain things.
So I think he'll be great matter of getting him comfortable when he's out there.
Obviously we see what he can do with the ball in his hand when he had those big returns this last week.
So he's definitely going to be a big playmaker for us.
The Packers have four or five starters out of the lineup for tonight's game.
Jordan Love was asked if he lowers his expectations for the season with that many people hurt already.
I don't change my expectations at all.
You know, I expect those guys go out there and put their best foot forward, you know, give me time to be able to go out there and try and dice the defense up.
You know, that's the expectations, whoever's out there.
So nothing changes, no game plan wise.
I think we'll look at some things to maybe help some areas, but for me, expectations of those guys are going
go out there and do their job.
The Packers are writing a 13 game winning streak in home openers pre-game time just after five o'clock today on WRCO.

The NBA's investigation of the Bucks deal with veteran guard Gary Trent Jr.
is still active.
Brew Hoop reports that the National Investigations law firm, Hecker Fink, has been hired.
Trent played for Milwaukee on minimum contract deals for two years and then agreed on a four-year contract worth $64 million and apparent overpayment.
The investigation focuses on whether that was a cap circumvention violation by the Bucks.
The report says there has been no incriminating documentary evidence discovered, but that doesn't mean the team will not be penalized.
