Here's a look at the high school sports schedule tonight beginning with soccer action, Richland Center is at the Prairie du Chien Co-op schools, also River Valley at Platteville Lancaster, Dodgeville Mineral Point at Mount Horrib, Sugar River at Wisconsin Heights, Reedsburg at La Crosse Logan, Barabou at Sauk Prairie, Portage Pointette Place at Mauston.
High school volleyball at Luther Verroqua is there along with G-E-T,
Kaston and Bangor meet in the scenic gloves conference along with new Lisbon at Royal and Wonigwok Center at Nassita Hillsborough at Brookwood.
Games in the Ridge and Valley, Ozeke Stubin is at Lafarge Youth Initiative, Seneca at North Crawford, DeSoto at Kickapoo, and Weston visits Ithaca.
Among the volleyball matches coming up this evening, Richland Center will be on the road at Prairie du Chien River Valley at Platteville as well.
And we'll have coverage from Riverdale where the Chieftains take on Iowa Grant in high school volleyball coming up later this evening.
A special volleyball event will be held and hosted this week by River Valley Schools.
That's on Thursday during River Valley Homecoming Week.
I talked to Coach Mariah Hill of River Valley about it.
Yeah, we have a really special match this year as everybody knows.
We lost a young community member and Briggs Maxwell to a farming accident.
So we decided to take it upon ourselves to just try to support the family and support the cause.
So this year we're doing
Biggs for Briggs for our homecoming match.
We're wearing his colors, Bear's colors, which is blue and orange.
We'll be wearing blue and Prada Sheen has graciously said they would wear orange.
And we're just hoping to raise a lot of money for the family and help them out with their scholarship or the memorial or anything we really can.
It's close to our heart.
A lot of our community members are related to Briggs.
His uncle Chad is a football coach, his aunt Casey.
has coached with me in the past and his cousin Kenley is a freshman on our volleyball team.
And we just really want to support them and help them any way we can during this tragic accident.
Tell us some ways that you raised money that night.
We sold t-shirts.
We actually sold over 350 t-shirts.
I think that's one of our biggest sales as long as I've been a coach here.
We're doing a bake sale.
We will do a bucket run.
And we actually reopened the t-shirts for another round of sales today because we had so many people reach out that missed it.
And I think it's just going to be a really great night.
I think we're going to raise a lot of money.
It's going to be really big and loud in our gym.
We found out Ithaca does not have a volleyball match that night.
So we expect a lot of the Ithaca community to be here as well.
And then our River Valley community always comes out and supports strong for all of our homecoming matches.
But I think this one is going to be a real special big one.

The Atlanta Falcons have named Michael Pinnick Jr.
their starting quarterback for Thursday night football against the Packers.
He suffered a serious knee injury last year in week 11 and had been fully taking part in team practices since the end of the preseason.
ACME Packing Company reports that he has posted a four and eight record as the starting quarterback for the Falcons, but it's a clear upgrade over Cooper Rush and Jack Strand, the team's quarterbacks in the first two games.
Elsewhere in football news, it was a win last night for Matthew Stafford and the Rams.
28-6, Devonte Adams made eight catches for 195 yards and hauled in two of Matthew Stafford's four touchdown passes.
Stafford passed for 327 yards for the Rams, who capitalized after the Giants lost Jackson Dart to a left knee injury on their first offensive series.
Bears coach Ben Johnson is leaving open the possibility that Caleb Williams could play in week three against Philadelphia.
Williams left Sunday's nine three loss to Minnesota with a right hamstring injury.
The third year quarterback got hurt on a scramble deep in Vikings territory with about seven and a half minutes left.
Johnson says he doesn't think Williams will practice this week, but he's not ruling him out of the matchup with the Eagles coming up on Monday night of next week.
Respect for coach Luke Fickles Badgers is growing after the 54 to 10 victory over Eastern Michigan.
Penn State is next on the schedule this Saturday.
Fan dual sportsbook list Wisconsin as a nine and a half point underdog against the unbeaten and 13th ranked, Nittany Lions.
Sports Illustrated reports that Fickles teams have met three highly ranked Big Ten opponents and lost all three games.

The NHL preseason is underway.
And former Buck's head coach, Doc Rivers says he has no plans to coach again after 27 years on the sidelines.
NBC has announced it has hired Rivers to act as an analyst during the upcoming season.
The Associated Press reports that Rivers is saying he's thankful that he was able to coach and play as long as he did.
He's worked television before holding positions with Turner Sports and later ESPN and ABC.
