The Richland Center Hornets and Lancaster Flying Arrows football teams battled last night in week five of the high school football season and Phil Nee
was there.
The Lancaster Flying Arrows football team won 35-nothing over Richland Center during the fifth weekend of the high school season.
There were three turnovers in the first quarter.
Richland Center's Blake Muller had an interception, but the Hornets were unable to capitalize.
The arrows scored in the first play of the second quarter when quarterback Toy Raghitz threw a six yard strike to Lucas Webber.
The two point conversion failed when the pass was deflected by the Hornets, Deacon Highs.
Lancaster's Toy Raghitz ran for a two yard touchdown and threw the two pointer to Trace and Fishnick to make it 14-nothing.
The play that
set the tone for the rest of the night was a raggots to Lucas Weber 26 yard strike with 25 seconds remaining in the half.
AJ Wiedenbeck ran for a two-point score to make it 22-0 in halftime.
The arrow scored two more touchdowns in the second half.
Toye ragged through to Teddy ragged for a 37-yard touchdown strike and later covered 35 yards with a pass to AJ Wiedenbeck, which got the continuous clock running with 10 minutes, 11 seconds remaining in the game.
With the 35-nothing win, Lancaster earned its first win of the season, their one and four.
They will travel to Broadhead, Judah during the sixth week of the season.
Richland Center is one and four and will travel to New Glaris on Friday evening.

of the high school football season started on Thursday night.
We see wins for Westby, Aquinas, West Salem, Arcadia, Royal,
Bangor, Onalaska, Sparta, Lacrosse Logan, Benton Scales Mound, Illinois, Schulzburg, Riverdale, River Ridge, Blackhawk, Warren, Illinois, Iowa Grant, Cashton, Holman, and an eight-player Thursday night games, DeSoto and North Crawford both picking up wins.
Now turning our attention to games from last night, our Friday night finals, it was a win for Prairie DeChino River Valley 56-6.
Platteville 56, Broadhead, Judah 16 from the Southwest Wisconsin Activities Conference last night's finals.
Cuba City over Fenimore 20 to 13.
Nuclearis 28, Mineral 0.21.
Darlington 49 to 7 over Southwestern, East Dubuque.
South Central finals ripping over Wisconsin Dells 22-14.
It was Wappan 32 Adams Friendship 6.
Belmont 44, Iowa, Scandinavia 12 and a win for Wisconsin Heights.

Ithaca Weston homecoming 20-26 and the Ithaca Fair and Parade continues today from Ithaca and there's a football game.

homecoming school fair and activities at Ithaca School Grounds today and later on Ithaca Weston's football team will host Brookwood in a scenic bluffs conference game.
Kickoff time is scheduled for one o'clock.

It says they have quite a few good athletes.
They have some speed,
their quarterback can throw the ball a long way.
So you're expecting maybe a little bit more of a slowdown game then in some ways.
Yeah, I think they're going to be throwing the ball quite a bit more than last week,
what we saw.
Do they compare with anybody you've played so far?
I think they're one of the better teams in the conference, yeah?
Looking at the stats from last week, anything stick out from your individual players, anybody that impressed you?
Spencer Nelson's really coming along at full back.
I think that was only his second game starting back there, and he had 125 yards against solid teams.

And finally, Jackson Cheerio hit a three-run homer Sal Freilich singled in the go-ahead run in the 10th inning and the Sergei Milwaukee Brewers beat the Baltimore Orioles on the road six to five last night.
Although the Brewers own the best record in the majors and have already clinched their fourth straight NL Central title, they aren't coasting to the finish.
Milwaukee is still looking to wrap up a first-round buy in the playoffs and earn home-fueled advantage throughout the postseason.
The Brewers got their eighth victory in ten games despite blowing a two-run lead in the ninth.
Chad Patrick got three outs for his sixth save.
Again, the Brewers win six to five over Baltimore.

It was a big day for Ithaca Weston during Ithaca football game, the homecoming day today.

There's this nap room center and now quarterback keeper, Jacob Keller, who gets around the corner, 40, down to the 35, down to the 30.
He is down the sidelines.

Ithaca Weston went up 14-nothing after Landon Walmer recovered a Brookwood fumble.
Keller threw a touchdown to Caden Keller for 15 yards.
The score stayed 14-nothing through halftime.
Ithaca Weston scored three touchdowns in the third quarter to put the game out of reach.
Spencer Nelson ran 41 yards for a touchdown and later the Keller to Keller accommodations struck from the air on touchdowns of 25 yards.

The Ithaca Western defense stopped the Falcons aerial attack and had interceptions from Jacob Keller and Peyton Brown.

Tyrell Henry caught 14 passes to set a Wisconsin single game record and Colton Joseph threw for 362 yards and accounted for four touchdowns as the Badgers trounced Eastern Michigan 54-10 today.
Henry's 14 catches included a 13-yard touchdown and totaled a career-high 160 yards.
Matt Nyquist previously owned the single game record with 13 receptions in a 33-20 loss to Iowa
in 1995.
The Badgers erased an early 7-0 deficit by scoring 41 straight points.

The Packers updated their injury report Saturday after listening Van Ness to ask questionable and Hargrave has doubtful a day earlier.
Hargrave and Van Ness were both in concussion protocol.
Hargrave also has been dealing with a knee issue.
The Jets have placed rookie wide receiver Omar Cooper Jr.
