River Valley swept Richland Center in high school action.
The Black Hawks put on an impressive display against their longtime conference rivals on the way to winning 25-19, 25-9 and 26-24.
Senior Ella Myers led with five kills in the opening victory and six in the second as the Black Hawks set the tone early.
Paige Stafford and Carly Birchfield helped the balanced attack and Josie Mahoney had 30 assists.

She also had an ace serve on game point in the close third set.
Richland set her battle back in that third as they seemed to get in sync, led by senior LV Weiss, who had three kills and Ella Clements with two.
Hornets battled from behind to tie the score at 23 and 24 before River Valley put the final two points on the board.
River Valley won the JV one match three sets to nothing over Richland Center in the earlier contest at River Valley High School Gym.
Following the win last night, River Valley varsity is now unbeaten through three matches in the league.
They will play another unbeaten Platteville next week.
Richland Center is now one and two in the conference.
They will travel to Lancaster coming up on Thursday night.
Also in the Southwest Conference, Platteville was a winner three sets to none over Dodgeville.
Highland 3 sets to 2 over Belmont.
Fenimore 3-2 over Iowa Grant.
It was Cuba City getting the win against Riverdale.

Jacobs pleaded no contest to charges of battery and criminal damage to property.
If the evidence is sealed, that would mean the NFL wouldn't be able to review the video from the May 23rd incident.
The NFL network says the league wants the video as part of the investigation.
