Richland Center football team had some impressive stats on the opening night when 40 to 12 over hosts for Roquan Friday night.
Jaden Shep ran back touchdowns on the first and second kickoffs of the game.
The leading rusher was Caden Stibbe with 54 yards on seven attempts and two touchdowns.
Avery McGlynn was two for four passing with 82 yards and a touchdown with one interception.
Jaden Calland and Isaac Gould led the blocking on offense on the evening.
Tate Perkins led the defense with six tackles, one tackle for a loss and four assisted tackles.
The Hornets will play the home opener Friday night at a Vitus Rip Field against Potosi-Cassville.
Kickoff time this Friday night at seven o'clock.

Richland Center Ithaca cross-country team will be in action for the first time officially on Saturday with the Cashton Invitational.
The team had a full team scrimmage over the weekend.
They will not have any home meets events this year, but they will be on the road running here in August, coming up Saturday with Cashton Invitational starting at 9 o'clock this Saturday morning.
and the Richland Center soccer team had their scrimmage against the alumni legends over the weekend and they start out a busy campaign with a game coming up as early as tomorrow night.
They'll be in La Crosse to take on Aquinas.
That is a seven o'clock kickoff for Varsity.
They'll also be at Mauston coming up at 5.30 on Thursday of this week before taking on Wisconsin Heights Barneveld next week.
The home opener for the Richland Center soccer boys will
be on Thursday, the 3rd of September when they play host to Dodgeville mineral point.
The home talent baseball postseason continues in Sunday league playoff action.

He had on a black shirt that read woman, noun, adult, human, female.
The fever called for a timeout after Cloud scored inside with one 22 left in the third.
Cloud then went to confront Cantor, who held his arms up and took one step onto the court.
Security and a handful of sky players stepped in between the two before the dispute escalated.

NBA insiders say Baker formed a close bond with the superstar over the last eight seasons.
The sporting news says he helped Giannis develop into a dominant player.
