High School Sports is winding down the spring sports season.

Yesterday in WIAA sectional semifinal girls soccer, McFarland ended the year for Platteville Lancaster 2-0 in a Division 3 game.

In Division 2, Sauk Prairie a 3-0 win against La Crosse Central and Holman was a winner over River Falls 3-1.

At the WIAA State softball tournament, lots of games moved around because of the inclement weather and the rain yesterday in Madison Division 5.

Belmont got the win against Athens, 10-2.

Belmont will be back at state's final game coming up with a chance to win for a second year in a row.

That game was early in the morning and then the rains came and several games moved around.

Later in the day, Almond Bancroft 11-6 over Blair Taylor.

Division four, middle point got the win against Marathon.

two to nothing, and they'll play Johnson Creek in the Division Four State title game.

Johnson Creek was winner over Gransberg, nine nothing.

In Division One, that was a quarter-final game played last night, Sun Prairie East over Union Grove, two to one.

The schedule for today has been jockeyed around just a little bit.

Division One action a semi-final at nine at Madison College features Mosquigo and Appleton North, and also at nine

at Goodman Diamond, Hamilton will play Sun Prairie East.

That pushes back the division three semifinals.

LaMaira and Spooner will meet at 11.30.

New Holstein plays Lodi this afternoon at approximately two o'clock.

In division two, semifinals today, 4.30, Medford and Piwaki, and tonight at seven,

Turner and Fox Valley Lutheran.

Division five, four, three, two and one championships will be played tomorrow at Goodman Diamond at the State Softball Tournament.

It is a busy weekend for hometown and baseball's Casanova Reds.

The Reds will continue a homestand with a game tonight against Sauk Prairie.

Saturday night they'll make up a contest with Cross Plains, and Sunday they will host Maisa Mani, all games in Casanova.

In the Northwest Division this weekend, Sauk Prairie plays at Ashton, Wisconsin Dells at Middleton, and Lodi at Maisa Mani.

In the Northwest it's going to be a game coming up for

Wisconsin Dells and Reedsburg and in the western section Belleville at Blanchardville, Hollandale at Sholesburg Benton, Muscaday at Arena coming up on Sunday.

Platteville won the league, followed by Lancaster, Dodgeville, River Valley, Prairie du Chien and Richland Center.

The Brewers return home to start a series against the Philadelphia Phillies tonight.
