Lake of Mizorowski reached 103 miles per hour and 10 pitches, while throwing 6 shut-out

innings and Brandon Lockridge hit two RBI singles before getting carted off the field.

In the Brewer's 6-0 win over the Yankees on Friday, Mizorowski reached a peak velocity

of 103.6 miles per hour and struck out 12 batters while allowing only 2 hits and 2 walks.

The Brewer is shut off the Yankees for the first time since 1992.

Lockridge left the game after his right knee crashed into an unpadded section of

Lockfield wall as he chased a foul ball in the 4th inning.

He has gone on the injured list today after crashing into the wall.

He's on the 10-day injured list with a laceration and contusion to his right knee.

The Brewer's recalled outfielder Blake Perkins from AAA Nashville to replace Lockridge on

the roster.

Lockridge sliding into foul territory suffered the injury.

The Yankees were trying to get something going when the fly ball was hit by Cody Belinger.

Spencer Jones couldn't help but notice all the differences as the Yankees knew his slugger

walked into the visiting clubhouse before making his major league debut Friday.

Then he tried putting that out of his mind.

Jones said that he's been told it's the same game and added that's how I'm going to

approach this.

Jones gives the Yankees one more 6 foot 7 outfielder to pair with 3 time MVP Aaron Judge.

The heralded prospect earned his promotion after Jason Dominguez sprained the AC joint

in his left shoulder on Thursday.

UCLA slugger Megan Grant has tied the home run record for Division 1 softball.

She launched her 37th of the season on Friday.

Senior match the record Arizona's Laura Espinoza set in 1995 when she sent a solo shot over

the fence in the second inning of a 19-5 win over Wisconsin in a big 10 tournament semifinal

in college park Maryland.

Well, the box are looking for some changes a new head coach Taylor Jenkins talked this

week about getting set to coach the team with or without Yannis.

Yeah, I mean, I think obviously we have big and important decisions as a team and organization

or the course of the summer.

We're going to have great dialogue with all of our players, Yannis included, but that's

the belief and trust I have with this group right here.

I know the belief and trust that they have in me that we're going to have those appropriate

conversations and navigate important decisions for not just now, but the fact that they

have a future and packer defensive coordinator Jonathan Ganon talked this week about the

defense looking a bit different.

It truly is.

It really is the truth when I tell you guys like this is going to be a new system this

year.

It's the green 2026 Green Bay Packers, you know, and it's it's awesome to me.

It's fun.

And Atlanta Braves Hall of Famer that was Bobby Cox has died.

Cox died today in Marietta, Georgia, according to the Braves.

Cox had a stroke in 2019.

He managed the Braves to prominence during the 1990s and the team's first championship

in 1995.

Cox was 84 years old.

That is an update on sports.
