Good Saturday morning, it's time to take a look at sports on WRC OFM.
The baseball triangular-ed basketball, which was to feature Ithaca and Chateque, has been
postponed, no makeup date has been announced.
A special program tonight will honor the past, highlight the present, and raise money
for the future.

For a former Richland Center Horned Athletes of Former Team, and an important business
in our community will be honored during tonight's Sting Knight at the Phoenix Center, put
on by the Richland Center Sports Boosteries.
Neil Morgan-Thaller, Brian Gelanic, Micah Piusseki, and Amy Robel will be inducted into the
RCHS Athletic Hall of Fame, along with the 1987 WIA Class B State Championship volleyball
team, and Joan Chevrolet, a longtime business and supporter of the Richland Center Athletic
Program.
Here is the Director of Marketing and Communication for the Richland School District Carey Stoles,
talking about the high school athletes from Richland Center High School this spring that
will be signing letters of intent tonight.
Well, we have football players, so there's Liam Fingerson and Devon Harris are both going
to play in college, and then we have, I mean, our cross-country team did great this year,
so quite a few runners who are going Ryan Stadler and Grace Fretz are both committed to
playing or running in college, and then soccer, we ended up with two, Giovanni Cernamada
and Asher Gomez, and then we ended up with volleyball too.
Danica Pals is going to go on and play volleyball in college, so it's, I mean, we're a small
school district, and I mean, sports are great, and we love them so much, but it is, it's
quite the number of kids that are going on and pursuing this.
Megan Clarkin is a member of the Richland Center High School Athletic Boosters.
She talked to us this week about the Order of Events tonight.
The doors officially open at 4.30, that's when you can come and look at the silent auction
items.
5.30 is when the Hall of Fame will begin, and we're never sure how long people are going
to talk, so we always say that college signing is a half an hour after the Hall of Fame,
so approximately between like 7 and 7.30, so just come for it also, you don't miss anything.
Megan says it's an important night for the district.
This is the booster, the athletic booster clubs, biggest fundraiser of the year.
It's at the Phoenix Center, the doors open at 4.30, that's when you can come on in and
make your bids for a silent auction.

Miami's Calvin Foucher entered the game in a 4 all tie in the 10th.
He walked Gary Sanchez with Bryce to rank on 2nd.
Jake Bowers hit a single to load the bases and the winning hit came from Garrett Mitchell.
Now the Marlin scored one run in the bottom of the 10th when Jacob Marseille came home
on Trevor McGell's wild pitch.
McGell then settled in for his 4th save of the season.
Otto Lopez hit a 2 run homer for Miami.
Abner Urebae pitched the 9th inning for his first win of the season for Milwaukee.
Besides that Brewers victory in the National League, the Cubs were victorious as well.
They defeated the match 12 to 4, Atlanta shut out Philadelphia by a final of 9, nothing.
San Fran can Washington 5 and the Dodgers over Colorado 7 to 1.
Junior Circuit finals Baltimore 2 better than Cleveland 6 to 4.
The Yankees doubled up on the Royals 4 to 2.
It was a pitcher's dual bossed and shut out Detroit 1, nothing.
The Shy Sox 9, the athletics 2 and Texas with a shut out win over Seattle 5 to nothing.

Pittsburgh no trouble a Tampa Bay 5 to 1 since he doubled up on Minnesota 2 to 1.
St. Louis 9, Houston 4, it was Arizona 3 better than Toronto 6-3 and the Angels blanked
the Padres of San Diego 8 to nothing.
Former Angels downfielder Garrett Anderson has died at the age of 53.
The multi-talented player became the Angels career hits leader and led the team to its
only World Series title.
The Angels announced Anderson's death and did not immediately disclose the cause or location.
Anderson reached the majors with the California Angels in 1994 and he played with the club
until 2008, primarily as a left-fielder.
He was a fixture in the heart of the batting order for his entire career, becoming the
franchises later in hits, RBI's and games played among many other achievements.
Anderson was a three-time AL All-Star from 2002 until 2005.
