Over the weekend in high school softball across Logan defeated River Valley Saturday morning that score was two to one high school soccer
Platteville Lancaster and Belleville New Glarest tied at a goal a piece and it was Mount Horab getting the win against
Platteville Lancaster one goal to none in track action at New Lisbon on Saturday for
Ithaca Weston Caden Keller 11th in the 106th in the 200 Sam Jones took second in the 800
Bracen Garcia-Bolen finished sixth Clayton Lee first place in the 1600 Bracen
Garcia-Bolen was fifth the 3200 first place Clayton Lee ninth for Bracen
Garcia-Bolen the 4 by 4 for Ithaca Weston was fifth Bracen Garcia-Bolen Deacon
McDonough along with Caden Keller and Sam Jones and the 4 by 8 finished first that was Braden Burns along with Conor and Montez
also Luke Osborne and Deacon McDonough the long jump Caden Keller finished third in the shot put Deacon
McDonough was 11th and 10th in the discus the boys finishing fourth out of 13 teams for the girls
Mel I with a seventh place finish in the 1600 and Faith Stenechka fourth in the discus next
action for Ithaca Weston Tuesday at the Brookwood Invitational also at the Mill Haven Invitational
Riverdale was there Gretchen Buchholz finished a total of second in the 100 meter hurdles Melody Williamson
was third in the 1600 run and also in the 3200 second girls long jump Haley Schneider of Riverdale
was third and Haley was a fifth place finisher in the girls long jump competition
Sianna Deglow of Riverdale finished fifth in the discus and Matherie Meece fifth in the 800
overall it was Riverdale finishing a total of 13th in the girls scoring for the Mill Haven
Invitational at New Lisbon on the Riverdale schedule for today baseball action Riverdale is at
Biroboo taking on Biroboo at Mary Roundtree Evans athletic field and it will be Riverdale playing
at Seneca this afternoon in softball River Valley softball is playing at sock prairie it's also
action coming up for the River Valley baseball team he'll be home against Cuba City this afternoon
Ithaca is at DeSoto in baseball Ithaca Weston getting set for action coming up in softball
on Tuesday they will play at DeSoto for Weston baseball scheduled for today versus Seneca at
Casanova Memorial Park that gets underway this afternoon at 430 and for Richland Center there
will be action today for the golf teams JV and varsity a trappers turn club and the annual grit
Invitational coach Michelle Lewis looking forward to the event today hoping that they can get it in

University of Wisconsin Athletic Director Chris McIntosh is stepping down after 12 years in
Madison he became AD in July of 2021 the sports business journal reports McIntosh will become
the deputy commissioner for strategy at the big 10 conference he played college football for the
