Persistent rain postponed the Milwaukee Brewer's game against the Kansas City Royals on Friday
night.
The game was called off about 90 minutes before first pitch, stores were forecasted
throughout the night.
The game will be made up as part of a double header today.
The originally scheduled game will move from 3-10 to a 1-10 p.m. first pitch and Friday
night's game will begin at 6-10 p.m. at Kaufman Stadium.
The pitching match-ups were not immediately available.
The Royals had recalled Lewandar Avia from the miners to start against the Brewer's Chad
Patrick yesterday.
The Milwaukee Brewer's have finalized their 8-year 50.75 million dollar contract with
Cooper Pratt adding their prize 21-year-old short-stop prospect to the 40-man roster and
an option in him to triple A Nashville.
The deal with Pratt includes club options that could keep him as a Brewer through the
2035 season.
That is among the top prospects in the Brewer farm system that ranks among the best
in the majors.
He was rated by MLB Pipeline as the number 60 prospect in all of baseball and fourth
in the Brewer's organization.
