Here's a look at the schedule in Division V, Potosi Castville plays at Kikapu.
De Soto will be at Southwestern. Seneca travels to North Crawford and River Ridge at Belmont,
Alma Peppin at Royal, Blair Taylor at Assumption. Plum City,
Elmwood travels to Hillsboro. It's also Fall River at Barnabelle.
Division IV games, Phenomore at Cambridge, Deerfield at Parkview,
Cuba City travels to Iowa Grant and Belleville at Darlington.
In Division III, New Glarest at Lancaster, Dodgeville at Mineral Point,
Plattville at Mauston and Lodai at Aquinas.
And tonight in Division II, boys basketball regional semis,
Brookfield Central at Sock Prairie, Barrow Boat, New Berlin West,
Toma at Fox Valley Lutheran, Sparta at LaCrosse Central,
Fort Atkinson at Mount Horubb and Stoughton at Monroe.
Winners of these games will play at 7 o'clock on Saturday night
in the regional championship games. Last night in Girls Basketball,
Independence Gilminton was a winner over De Soto 4740. They advanced to face Barnabelle
on Saturday night at Cashton High School, starting at 7 o'clock.
And your capacity crowd last night at Dodgeville saw Barnabelle defeat
Argyle Peccatanaca 53-36. Also, sectional championship action,
coming up in Division III tomorrow afternoon at one at Portage High School.
Wisconsin Dells will be one of the opponents. They knocked off Aquinas
76-52 and Edgerton was a winner 49-35 over landcaster in WIAA Tournament
action. This weekend at State Powerlifting Competition
for many area schools. They'll be involved in the event going on
in the Fox Valley area coming up this weekend. It's also State Gymnastics
action as the winter sports season starts to wind down to a close.

The W. Superior Yellow Jacket Women's Basketball team moves on to
the NCAA Division III tournament this weekend.
They'll be doing battle this evening as they are going to be hosted
in the tournament by the Cobbers of Concordia.
The game will tip off at 8 o'clock.
Charlotte Firstola River Valley graduate is a member of the Superior Yellow Jackets team.
I think that we have to play a complete 40 minutes.
That is something we've struggled with and at the beginning of the year is
coming out really hot in the first half and then kind of dropping the ball in the second half.
So I think that we have to bring it all 40 minutes.
And if one player is bringing the sparks to the team,
we've got to keep feeding them the ball and keep that rolling.
We just got to make sure our runs, basketball games run,
basketball the game runs, we have to make sure our runs are
punching them in the face more than their runs are punching on the face.
And then after this, if you keep winning, how far can you go?
We'll see. I mean, like I said, we get that underdog.
We get to be the underdog, which gives us that competitive edge.
But if we win, then we'll play in more head again on Saturday to the winners of Ripon
and UW River Falls. And then I honestly don't know where we would go from there,
but we'll figure it out sometime.
Charlotte Firstola member of the W Superior Yellow Jacket Women's Basketball team,
they were in action this weekend. But Wisconsin men's basketball program
anxiously awaits the word from the doctors on the injury suffered by Nolan Winter.
Head coach Greg guard says it appears winter as avoided the worst diagnosis.
He will go in for testing and evaluation today. UW plays Purdue coming up tomorrow.
A 72 victory over Minnesota State Thursday night means the Badger Women's Hockey team
is back in the WCHA final face-off title game. The Badgers go for their third straight title,
Saturday afternoon. Wisconsin's record is now 32-3 and 2.
LeBron James has become the NBA's leader in career fugals. James surpassed Karim Abdul-Jabbar
last night in Denver. James set the mark with his third basket of the night against the nuggets
that gave him 15,838 buckets. Abdul-Jabbar finished with 15,837.
