I'm Phil Ne with a look at sports. The season came to an end for the Richland Center boys basketball team
65 52 at landcaster in the first round of the WIA tournament. A Hornets led nearly for 33 of the 36-minute
game. The lead grew to 12 in the first half and Richland Center was up 35-28 at halftime. The
advantage began to dwindle late in the game with the arrows finally taking the lead for good with just
over three minutes left. As a number 13 seed, the Hornets bid for an upset ran out of gas. Landcaster won
on a 12-nothing run in the last three minutes to log the win. The fourth seed arrows advanced in
the tournament and will play Friday at home against New Glarris. Softmore Conner Stoltz came off the
bench to score 14 for Richland Center, including four three pointers. Brady Dosh had 12,
high-scoring junior Jaden Shepp was held to eight points by the Eros defense while a buzzworth
and Keegan highs each total six and Liam Fingerson scored four. The team was three four eight from
the line. Landcaster senior Zach Hermeson had 23 points while Dane Kaufmann and Taylor Williams
each had 14. The Eros had seven three pointers and they shot six for eight from the line.
The Eros are now 16 and nine for the season. Following the 65-52 loss, Richland Center ends the
season at seven and 17. Seniors that saw their high school basketball careers and on Tuesday night
were a buzzworth Brady Dosh Grayson Clements, Cutler Palmer, Liam Fingerson and Ray Ferguson.
Elsewhere, in Division III, River Valley gave it a good go last night as well
against the team that they had split with during the regular season. River Valley actually led by
a couple of points at halftime before falling in the end, 76-66 against the sixth seeded
Plattville Hillman. It was a win for Dodgeville over Westby 79-71 and Lodi over Wisconsin Dells 75-59.
Barrow Wubit Readsburg 68-55 as well. In Division IV, Phenomore defeated the Lincoln Academy 77-28,
Cubicity over Prairie Dushin 83-50, Bellville 60, Broadhead 53,
Deerfield 66-36, over Wisconsin Heights. With buys last night in the area, Iowa Grant and
Darling Chenon Division IV and Mauston Nugleris and Mineral Point along with Aquinas
in Division III. Looking at the Division V results from last night, the year came to an end for
the Ithaca boys basketball team at Seneca. A team they had split with during the regular season,
it was Seneca getting the win 67-55 and advancing in the tournament. Number one seed north Crawford
a winner against Weston 77-44. Southwestern end of the year for Riverdale 77-46.
Bevan Dennis had 21 points for Riverdale. DeSoto 53, Benton 47. Potosi Kassville over
Boscabel 51-43. Kikapoo 88 was EcoStube in 59. Alma Peppin 69-62 over New Lisbon.
Belmont 78, Highland 41. River Ridge over LaFarge Youth Initiative 63-38. Hillsboro
a 68-38 win against Gilman Chenon Dependence. David Johnson had 23 for Hillsboro,
Miles Ravenscroft with 16. Bronjersley scored 11. Plum City, Elmwood over 1-1 center 64-57.

Monday night church league tournament volleyball, church in the Nazarene 1. Blanked Baptist
Temple 4. Two games to none. St. Mary's advanced to the Division A championship,
getting by Richland Baptist Temple 2. 2-1, church in the Nazarene 2, advanced to the
Division B championship game. Downing Santa Maria, two games to none.
And Richland Baptist Temple 3 moved into the Division C championship game,
beating Avocal Bible Church 2. Two games to none. Tuesday night Avocal Bible Church 2
went to the Division C championship game, topping church in the Nazarene 1. Two games to none.
Setting up a rematch with Richland Baptist Temple 3. And undefeated Lighthouse Chapel took the
Division A tournament championship over runner up St. Mary's two games to none. Richland
Baptist Temple 2 finished third. The tournament concludes next week on Monday with the Division C
championship. Richland Baptist Temple 3 versus Avocal Bible Church 2. If Avocal wins,
the same two teams will play at 745. And at 830, the B division championship will be decided,
Bula Wesley and against church in the Nazarene 2. If the Nazarene's win, the same two teams play

Cheryl McNerlin, a 178 in the powder puff bowling league. Packers back up quarterback Malik
Willis could be headed to the Arizona Cardinals. NFL Network reports the Cardinals have told their
starting quarterback Kyler Murray he will be officially released when the new NFL year starts a
week from today. The move means Arizona will take a one-time cap hit of almost $55 million.
About 37 million of that comes from guarantees, including in existing deals for the 26th season.
The Atlanta Falcons are the ninth home team announced by the NFL for the international games
during the upcoming 26 season. That means the odds that the Packers will be involved in the
program are dropping. The league made the latest announcement Tuesday. It says the rest of the
international schedule will be released in May. The Packers could still wind up playing against
the Lions in Munich or the Saints in a Paris game as well. The Coles play some transition tag on
quarterback Daniel Jones and the Jets use the franchise tag on Running Back Breast Hall as teams
beat the deadline to place tags on potential free agents. And some risk discomfort remains
for Brewer starting pitcher Quinn Priester. MLB dot com reports the problem that first showed up late
last season is lingering. There's also a possibility that veteran starter Brandon Woodruff
won't be able as the season starts to get underway right away. Right now the team is taking
it slow with both pitchers and saying Priester isn't expected to be out for long. There are
