Plattville held off Richland center 80 to 75 in boys basketball last night.
The host Hornets played one of their most complete games of the season before
falling to the defending conference champs.
The Hillman held a 10 point lead at halftime and extended it to 15 in the second half.
Richland center roared back to within four late in the game before Plattville kept the lead
from the free throw line in the closing two minutes.
For the second conference game in a row,
junior jade and chef hit 30 points.
Last night he made nine three pointers on the way to game high honors.
Senior Liam Fingerson helped out with 17 and senior Brady Dosh added 11.
Deakin High scored seven, Conor Stoltz six points and a buzz worth had four.
The team was six for nine shooting from the free throw line.
The Hillman had four and double digit scoring.
Grady Poppy at 22, Geron blevens 17,
Myron Ryder 16 and Will Zelensky total 12.
Plattville made 11 three pointers and they shot 10 for 16 from the free throw line.
Plattville came back to win the JV one game 44-41 over the Hornets.
Following the 80 to 75 win, Plattville is now five and three in the league and 12 and nine overall.
They will play at River Valley on Friday.
Richland Center dropped to three and five in the conference and six and 15 overall.
They will play at Westby this evening.

It's starting look like the box won the NBA trade deadline
by picking up 22-year-old Ford Usman Zhang.
Heavy.com reports that he came from the Oklahoma Thunder
as part of a three-team trade.
After just three games, he's earned a start
and has been showing an impressive shooting touch,
connecting on half of his three pointers
while scoring a combined 36 points the last two times out.
He will likely be a solid compliment to Yanis Ahtanakumpo
when the superstar returns.
Last night Iowa State was winner against Houston,
70 to 67, and number three Duke over Syracuse 101 to 64.
There's no disputing the talent on the Packers roster,
but the team still lost its last five games.
The problem is that the front office doesn't have many resources
moving forward.

and 29th in draft picked capital.
The Packers don't have a draft choice until number 52.
Right now the team is over the salary cap,
