Braden Carrington and John Blackwell, each scored 17 to lead the offense. The Badgers host USC

coming up on Sunday. Also in basketball news, Marquette tries to pin back-to-back wins down

when it plays at Butler at a Big E's conference game coming up tonight. That's something

the Golden Eagles haven't accomplished since early on in the season. Butler's scoring is led by

Finley Biz Jack, with almost 20 points of game. Also for Marquette, a win for back-to-back knights

would get them back on track as they have struggled for much of the season. Christian McCaffrey is the

only the second player to be a finalist for three AP NFL awards. As far as Josh Allen, Trevor Lawrence,

Drake May and Matthew Stafford, they're all in the running for the AP 2025 NFL most valuable

player award. McCaffrey and May are also finalists for the offensive player of the year award.

New Dolphins head coach Jeff Halfley says he has nothing but love for the friends co-workers and

players he leaves behind. Halfley and Miami General Manager John Eric Sullivan spoke with reporters

at a news conference on Thursday. Even though Halfley has no head coaching experience, Sullivan says

bringing him was a slam dunk. The former Packer defensive coordinator says his two years in Green Bay

were the best of his life so far. He calls Packers head coach Matt LaFleur a great coach and a great

friend.
