The schedule in girls basketball tonight has Ithaca Weston playing at Boschabell, Wisconsin
Heights at River Valley.
Zika Stuban is at Riverdale, Highland Host Dodgeville, Royal at North Crawford,
New Soto is at Varroqua, Westby at Cashton, Mineral Point at Belmont,
Darlington visits Black Hawk, Oregon and Cuba City, and New Glarris at Pecatonica,
Argyle.
The boys basketball schedule is a bit brief as Partyville plays at Wisconsin Dells,
Broadhead at St. Ambrose, Shoesburg at Iowa Grant,
Kikaboo travels to Waniwak Center, Varroqua at Hillsboro, Ithaca at New Lisbon,
and coming up on the radio tonight, Wisconsin Heights at Richland Center.
I talk to coach Brian Poles of Richland Center about tonight's game.
An opponent that we know well, play regularly in the season and we see them in the summer leagues,
so a team we're familiar with.
I think they're going through some change, new coach this year.
They're programs a little light on numbers, and so I think it's a game for us.
The challenge is coming off of what we just went through the holidays with our schedule,
and then a game on Saturday, and then jumping right into it on Monday.
So for us coming out with a focus and an intensity, hopefully we're getting a little bit healthier
as this sickness is lingered for a couple of weeks for us.
So that's what we're looking for, consistency right from the get-go tonight against Heights.
The pregame time begins around 715, and then it's Wisconsin Heights at Richland Center.
Tonight's local sports broadcast on WRCO.
The Green Bay Packers believe their lack of momentum heading into the postseason
shouldn't make much of a difference now that they're in the playoffs.
Green Bay's recent history tells a different story.
The Packers won their last three regular season games two years ago,
and then upset Dallas in the playoffs.
They lost their last two regular season games last year,
and then fell at Philadelphia in the wildcard round.
And then they ended this regular season on a four-game skid,
and now had two Chicago for a wildcard playoff game on Saturday night.
And the game on Saturday night will begin at 7 in the evening,
and you'll be able to hear the broadcast of that game right here on WRCO 100.9 FM,
with the pregame starting at around 5 o'clock.
The Bucks won for the third time in four games they had.
Yannis opted to coupon the lineup after his absence.
The 6-11 veterans scoring machine put up 37 points and grabbed 11 rebounds.
And yesterday is 115-98 win at Sacramento.
Kevin Porter Jr scored 25.
Milwaukee improved its record to 16 and 20,
with the game against the Golden State Warriors coming up on Wednesday.
Peter Fagen is, or Peter Fagen, I should say,
is stepping down as the Milwaukee Bucks president after a 12-season run
overseeing the team's business operations.
Josh Glussing will be taking over for Fagen.
The two will be working together over the next month,
while the transition takes place.
Glussing has been working as the Haslam Sports Group's Chief of Strategy and Development.
Fagen joined the Bucks in 2014 and was in place for the 2018 opening of Pfizer form,
as well as the championship season of 2020 through 21,
while strengthening the team's ties to the Milwaukee community.
