There were many cancellations last night in high school sports.
So we take a look at Southwestern Wisconsin area sports.
I'll look back at some games that were canceled, including our featured broadcast
or what was to be a featured broadcast on WRCO, Richland Center,
Prairie Dushin boys basketball.
That has not officially been rescheduled, although there's been talk about
December 30th, which would be a Tuesday night area games from last
night that are being made up tonight, Dodgeville at River Valley and Boys
Basketball, Royal at Hillsboro, Seneca, Addisotto, Cashton at Woneywalk
Center, Nakusa at Adams Friendship, Ripon at Boston and Sparta at La
Cross Central.
On the schedule for tonight, beginning with Boys Basketball, it will be
action coming up for Sparta at La Cross Central, Ripon at Boston,
Nakusa at Adams Friendship, as we'd mentioned, and Middleville Point at
Potosi Castville.
Girls basketball, regularly scheduled games this evening, including
Bangor at Royal, Seneca at North Crawford, Disotto at LaFarge, Kikapoo at
Wozika Stupin.
Also tonight Hillsboro at Woneywalk Center, Judah at Highland, Dodgeville
at Prairie Dushin, Iowa Grant at Phenomore, Boscombele at Cuba City,
River Valley travels to Lancaster, Richland Center will be at Platville,
Middleville Point at Riverdale.
In fact, we'll have that game tonight on the radio.
The Chief Dunes have been off to a good start with a five and two record.

We came up probably our most complete game of the season last Thursday night
against Iowa Grant.
We took a double digit lead into into half time and never were really tested
against the team that had beat a couple of conference teams and stuff like
that. So we're really happy with where we're at right now.
Five and two and two in one conference and we've got some big matchups coming up.
Yeah, this is a big challenge with the Middleville Point Friday night.
Tell me about them.
Yeah, well, they've got two experienced seniors and a whole bunch of juniors.
Their post player gives us matchup issues and they've got a whole bunch of
guards. They got the Miller twins.
One of them, number 12 is scoring about 14 points a game and really,
really gets their offense going.
They're a high pressure team.
They're going to try to press us, turn us over and get some easy buckets.
Definitely matchup issues, but you know, in all honesty, like, I really like
our depth, like against most teams and including Middleville Point.
I would say they're probably not quite as deep as they have been in the past
and we're hoping that we can handle their pressure and take advantage using our
forwards and inside on them.
Riverdale girls basketball coach Larry Swigham will have coverage of that game
tonight has a part of our Friday night live girls basketball action.
Pregame time sponsored by the testing power sports will begin around 715 on
WRC. Oh, and then tomorrow will have updates from the Richland
invitational wrestling tournament, Bill Twining and David Werman will be on
hand for that event.
We'll action begins at nine o'clock tomorrow morning.
Teams coming into the Richland invitational wrestling tournament include
Barrow Boob, Boscow Bell, Cashton, Cochrane Fountain City, GT, Hillsborough,
Holman, Iowa Grant, Ithaca, Weston, La Crescent, Hoka, Plattville,
Belmont, Readsburg, River Ridge, River Valley, Riverdale, Sun Prairie West,
Toma, Verokua and Westby, all at Richland Center tomorrow.
And also the action is set to conclude around 530.
The girls action tomorrow at the Alliance Energy Center, the annual Badger
State Wrestling Invitational, which will involve many schools from across the
Midwest, basically, they include Adams Friendship, Darlington will be there
along with Dodgeville, Phenomore, Iowa Grant, Ithaca, Weston will have wrestlers
there as we'll kick a pool of Farge and it will be Austin making the trip.
Minimal Point girls will be there Mount Horob, North Crawford, along with Prairie
Machine and River Falls, Richland Center, and Wanakee and West Salem at the
Alliance Energy Center Wrestling Action begins around 9 o'clock and is set
to conclude around 8 o'clock tomorrow evening.
One of the reminder about the Richland Wrestling Invitational, which is going
on tomorrow, they will conduct four more individuals into the wrestling hall
of honor, including Zach Manny, Matt Winterberg, Zach Elliott and Matt Maxwell.
They will go into the hall officially tomorrow before the
Invitational's finals and this year's honorees include a team or actually teams
the Richland Center's wrestling teams that began at all back in the day,
birthed under legendary coach Laverne Peeper.
The team was formulated in the fall of 1958 and Peeper coached the Hornets
four years before moving on to a Hall of Fame career at Stoughton High School.
wrestlers from those teams from 1958, 59 through 1961, 62 are encouraged to be
a part of the ceremony coming up tomorrow.

Turbo's Bar and Grill at 2724.

Tim Callenbowl, the 601 series, 100 over average, Ryan Gaston with a 350 series,
98 over average, pioneer print company defeated Turbo's Bar and Grill by only
two and a half points to win the first half.

Chris Pardoon, Chuck Pardoon and Deb Pardoon.

Next Thursday is Christmas and the All Star League will not bowl that day.

Wisconsin dominated the first set, but eventually lost.
The number one seed Kentucky in the NCAA division won volleyball semi-finals last
night.
The Badger has held off the Wildcats on three straight sets before a block
went out of bounds.
Wisconsin finished the season with a 28 and five record double levels by Kevin
Porter and Bobby Portisward enough to keep the bucks from dropping in 111 105
decision to Toronto.
The Badger man meet Villanova tonight.
