for the Hoosiers. Indiana is 12-0. They're likely locked up a second straight college football
playoff birth. They'll find out today whether they play No. 1 Ohio State No. 5 Oregon
or No. 15 Michigan a week later for the conference title.
Into the NFL, the Chicago Bears have won their fifth straight game. They used a dominant rushing
attack to beat the Reeling Philadelphia Eagles 24-15 yesterday. Kyle Menigay raced for 130 yards
in a touchdown. Deandre Swift ran for a buck 25 in a score for Chicago. Led by rookie head coach
Ben Johnson, the surprising bears are alone in the first place position in the NFC North heading
into a showdown at Green Bay next weekend. The Eagles seemingly had the NFC East wrapped up
two weeks ago only to suffer consecutive defeats that have them looking little like a Super Bowl
contender. And Aaron Rogers and his broken left wrist will start tomorrow when Pittsburgh
hosts Buffalo. Rogers who set out of last week's lost at Chicago after injuring the wrist against
Cincinnati on November 16th was a full participant in practice for the second consecutive day on Friday.
Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin said Rogers will not have any injury designation
clearing the way for the 41-year-old Rogers to return. The Steelers held Rogers out of the
bears game after he was limited in practice the week before. Pittsburgh is six and five on the year
and they've dropped four of their last six. They'll face the bills who are seven and four on the year.
