I am Phil Ney with a look at Southwestern Wisconsin sports WIA State football championships
will be played at Camp Randall Stadium coming up Thursday and Friday.
The first game of the day on Thursday at 10 pitts division seven combatants, including
Cochran Fountain City and Kenosha St. Joseph Catholic, followed at 1 p.m. by Darlington and
Edgar.
Then at 4 Thursday, Mayville and Northwestern will battle in the little shoot and win a
conny, playing at 7 o'clock Thursday night.
And then coming up starting Friday off at 10 o'clock, Readsburg will face Grafton.
The next game coming up at 1 on Friday will pit West Appear and Notre Dame, and the
final division won at 4 o'clock Friday afternoon will have Bayport taking on Arrowhead for the
WIA State Football Championships.
For all conference news this week, six rivers, football, all conference, first team offense.
At quarterback, Brock Hinderman, Iowa Grant, River Ridge's Brandon Davis, running backs
Black Hawk Warren, Jacob Woodruff, running backs also include Riversaw of Potosi
Cassville and teammate Hunter White.
From Iowa Grant, receivers land in freezing and Sam Lundell make the first team.
To tie it in and half back, Bryce Van Raeltie of Black Hawk Warren and Jackson Connitchek

Black Hawk Warren won the Six Rivers Conference this year, going 7-0, Potosi Cassville was 6-1,
Sanico-Azika Stuban 5-2, Iowa Grant 4-3, River Ridge 3-4, Riverdale 2-5, Pekatonica
Argyles 1-6, and Boskebell 0-7.
And special awards were given out to the offensive player of the year, Brandon Davis,
River Ridge, a senior, defensive player of the year was Bryce Van Rality, a Black Hawk
Warren, a senior, Potosi Cassville's Will Tobin, when the offensive lineman of the year
award, junior Cole Dunlavy of Black Hawk Warren won the defensive lineman of the year.
Coach of the year, Desmond Braden of Black Hawk Warren, and the assistant coach of the
year, Doug O'Brien of Black Hawk Warren.

It was after the game when Matt LaFlora affected on the backup quarterback Malik Willis leading
a touchdown drive.
He's a great competitor, he's so calm.
He was in there in some critical situations, we had some third downs, we call the zone
read, and he uses his legs, which when you're starting quarterback is out, and then you
have your backup in there, and you call his zone read, you're a little bit concerned
about that in that moment, because you can't have anything happen to him, but he made a lot
of plays in the game, and obviously, you know, we don't win that game without him.
Trailing early and having lost their last two games, the Packers could have been in real
trouble when Willis stepped in.
Also, Jordan Love commented on the win.
Exactly what we needed, we came in with the mindset, it's going to be a game, it's going
to, whatever it takes, we've got to find a way to go get a win and get us back on track,
so like you said, it's never going to be pretty, man, it's an NFL, you've got to find
a way to go win these games, and obviously was a close one, came down to the end, but
we stayed together and guys just found ways, keep making plays all the way to the fourth
quarter.
Elsewhere was the bears coming from behind to beat the Vikings, 1917, the Vikings, the
next opponent of the Green Bay Packers this weekend, the bears next opponent will be the
Pittsburgh dealers quarterback Aaron Rogers dealing with an injury to his left wrist that
forced the four time MVP to miss the second half of the Steelers 34 12 win over Cincinnati.

It's not known whether he'll be in uniform when Pittsburgh visits Chicago next week.
In the Sunday night game, Jalen Hertzcore, the only touchdown for the Eagles in a 16-9 win
over the Lions.
The Eagles are the only team in the NFC East with more than three wins and the second one
in the conference to win eight games.
Their eight and two record puts them in contention to take the top seed and earn home field
advantage in the upcoming playoffs.
The Wisconsin Badgers after a loss to Indiana get ready for the fighting a line high, they'll
square off this coming weekend.
