The rich and valley all conference cross country team names have been announced.
Pickaboo LaFarge was the conference champion boys team and River Ridge the title is for
the girls as well.
First team for the boys this year included from North Crawford, Sam Noble and Peter
Mollner from Kickaboo LaFarge, Landon Tergason, Jeff Olson and Theo Parr.
Norman Reed Mulligan from Wasek Estupin and Logan Brutos from Disodo.
Back in team all conference boys, Brecken Miller and Leane Miller along with Arlen
Walter and Will Wertz from Kickaboo LaFarge.
Taylan Apadacco and Stefano Caravegos from Schoesburg, Belmont making the team and Western
sophomore Torian Bormett.
First team all conference girls Alex Van Bustelli from River Ridge, Lea Patterson, Lindsay
Burmeister and Mackenzie Taylor, North Crawford's Ingrid Carstens, Wasek Estupins, Natalie
Wright and Kobe Andelsack from Kickaboo LaFarge.
Second team girls from Kickaboo LaFarge, Kendall Andelsack along with Katie Randell and
Wasek Estupins, Emma Udall-Hovon, Isabella Bunders, Elena Martin, Stella Walls and Lea
Perolta.
The runners of the year for the girls, sophomore Alex Van Bustelli from River Ridge and North
Crawfords Sam Noble, a junior.
The 2025 boys cross country sportsmanship team Logan Brutos to Soto, Will Wertz Kickaboo
LaFarge, Peter Mollner North Crawford, Mason Pesanovsky from River Ridge, Elliott Searles
Schoesburg, Belmont, Theodore Milliken from Wasek Estupins and the 2025 girls cross country
sportsmanship team Sadie Venner, Dissoto.
It was Katie Randell from Kickaboo LaFarge being recognized, Lena Schmidt North Crawford,
Chloe West River Ridge, Cassidy Brania from Schoesburg, Benton and Isabella Bunders from
Wasek Estupins.
The coaches of the year for the girls Shane Spurley, River Ridge and for the boys Jacob
Gurkey, Kickaboo LaFarge.

And tonight the WIA boys football tournament continues with a sectional semi-finals being
or sectional finals, I should say, being played.
The winners of tonight's games will advance on to state competition at Camp Randall Stadium
next weekend.
And local teams that are still in our area teams that are still participating include
in Division 7, Potosi Casville.
They'll be taken on Kenosha St. Joseph Catholic and that'll be played at Stolten at 7 o'clock
tonight.
Also at 7 this evening in Division 6, it will be Darlington facing Manitwock Lutheran
and that will be played at Waukesha West.
And then also tonight at 7 in Division 3, it will be Readsburg at Whitefish Bay and
that game is being played at Madison LaFallet.
And also in 8 player football, they got their championship game going on tomorrow and
that'll be played tomorrow at one at Southwood County Stadium in Wisconsin Rapids and the
teams that will be playing are McDonald's Central Catholic against Gilman.
After the promising start to the season, it isn't impossible that the past is going
backers could miss the playoffs.
The remaining schedule is the ninth toughest among the 30 teams, sports illustrated reports
that Green Bay is expected to beat this week's opponent, the New York Giants.
But after that, the remaining teams on the schedule have one more than 60% of their games.
The gaming against the Giants is only one that could be considered easy for the Packers.
The tide has taken an ugly turn for the Badgers and their Big Ten Conference series against
Indiana, Wisconsin 1-10 straight against the Hoosiers ending in 2017.
It has dropped the last two meetings, but both were once scored defeats.
This time, the odds makers don't even think it will be close.
Second ranked Indiana is favored by more than four touchdowns in tomorrow's game against
the Badgers.
And the game will be played in Indiana tomorrow.
Kickoff will be at 11 and you'll be able to hear the broadcast of that game on WRC-E
107.7 and AM-1450, pregame will start at around 9 o'clock.
