The rich and valley all conference cross country team names have been announced.
Kickaboo LaFarge was the conference champion boys team and River Ridge, the title is for
the girls as well.
First team for the boys this year, included from North Crawford, Sam Noble and Peter Mulner,
from Kickaboo LaFarge, Landon Tergason, Jeff Olsen, and Theo Par.
Nolan Reed Mulligan from Wazika Stuban and Logan Brudos from DeSoto.
Second team all conference boys, Brecken Miller and Lane Miller along with Arlen Walter
and Will Wertz from Kickaboo LaFarge.
Taylan Epidocco and Stefano Caravegos from Schoesburg, Belmont making the team and
Western sophomore Torian Bormett.
First team all conference girls, Alex Van Bustelli from River Ridge, Leah Patterson,
Lindsay Burmeister, and Mackenzie Taylor.
North Crawford's Ingrid Carstens, Wazika Stubans, Natalie Wright, and Kobe Andelsek from
Kickaboo LaFarge.
Second team girls from Kickaboo LaFarge, Kendall Andelsek along with Katie Randell and Wazika
Stubans, Emma Yudelhoven, Isabella Bunders, Elena Martin, Stella Walls, and Leah Peralta.
The runners of the year for the girls, sophomore Alex Van Bustelli from River Ridge and North
Crawfords, Sam Noble, a junior.
The 2025 boys cross country sportsmanship team Logan Brudos to Soto, Will Wertz, Kickaboo
LaFarge, Peter Mulner, North Crawford, Mason Pesanovsky from River Ridge, Elliott
Seros, Sholesberg Belmont, Theodore Milliken from Wazika Stubans, and the 2025 girls cross
country sportsmanship team Sadie Venner, Dissoto.
It was Katie Randell from Kickaboo LaFarge being recognized, Lena Schmidt, North Crawford,
Chloe West River Ridge, Cassidy Branya from Sholesberg Benton, and Isabella Bunders from
Wazika Stubans.
The coaches of the year for the girls, Shane Spurley River Ridge, and for the boys, Jacob
Gurkey, Kickaboo LaFarge.
The 11 player football playoff action coming up this weekend, it states semi-final play,
and on Friday night, Potosi Castville will play at Stoughton against Kenosha St. Joseph
Catholic.
The other bracket, Cochrane Fountain City plays Lawrence Academy at Wisconsin Rapids
Lincoln.
Division 5, Darlington will take on Manitouac Lutheran at Waukeshaw West.
The other bracket features Edgar and Mondovey at Stanley Boyd.
State semi-finals, Division 5, Mayville will play Lake Country Lutheran at Slinger High
School, and Northwestern will battle Stratford at Chippewa Falls High School.
Also moving to playoff football action for Division 4, Columbus will tangle with little
shoot at Kewaskam, and Baldwin Woodville takes on Winnecanny at Marshfield High School.
The Division 3, Readsburg, will play Whitefish Bay at Madison LaFallet, and Grafton will
take on Catholic Memorial at Okonomowak.
Moving to Division 2, West of Peer plays Homestead at Nina High School, and River Falls
battles Notre Dame at DC Everest.
Division 1, Muskego will tangle with Bayport, that is at UW-Lashkosh Titan Stadium, and
won a key plays Arrowhead at Madison Memorial High School.
Eight player football coming up on Saturday, the State Championship, features McDonald's,
Central Catholic, and Gilman.
It is certainly the changing of the season, as there are several basketball scrimmages
for girls teams coming up this weekend.
Richland Center will host a scrimmage for JVN varsity featuring Riverdale and Hillsboro.
It gets underway Saturday morning at 9 at the Richland Center High School Fieldhouse,
and the schedule gets underway.
River Valley's girls team will be in action with a scrimmage at Oakfield Middle School
and High School for JVN varsity on Saturday.

The Bucks weren't able to overcome the absence of Yanis Antidacumpo on Wednesday night in a
1-11-100 defeat at Charlotte.
The Hornets broke out in front in the first period and led the rest of the way, but Milwaukee
continued to linger within striking distance.
Ryan Rollins scored 25 points, and Miles Turner had another 21, but the Hornets dominated
on the boards and broke their three game losing streak.
The same two teams play again Friday night, this time the showdown will be in Milwaukee.
Coach Stock River says they didn't make plenty of mistakes.
