It is time for a Southwestern Wisconsin check of sports, the WIA postseason is upon us for
area girls and boys teams from fall sports football gets to the third week for 11 player,
fourth week for eight player and WIA state soccer action is this weekend Thursday through Saturday
and that is being held in Milwaukee division one semi finals get underway on Thursday morning
at 11 o'clock with Brookfield East playing Madison West WIA boys volleyball tournament which
is the 60 second and the girls volleyball tournament which is the 53rd will be held Wednesday
through Saturday at the rest center in Green Bay boys quarter finals on Wednesday get underway
with action going on for girls through the weekend. In fact, the girls volleyball tournament
will be getting underway on Thursday and right away in the morning division four Heritage Christian
will play Blair Taylor and Regis takes on Montelo also in division three that morning
Watertown Luther Prep plays Luther and Baron will tangle with Manitouac Lutheran division two on
Friday morning sock prairie plays Luxembourg casco and grafton will tangle with Wapaka division one
