Ithaca cross country teams preparing for a run at state tournament.
Coming up this Saturday in Wisconsin Rapids, you're as head coach Eric Midden.
It can be fun this week where normally it's just about a guy or two or three.
If you're lucky and you know, have a whole team there that's got something to
take and beat for, something to, you know, go and work for.
They're already talking about their goals for this next week and hoping that they can put
together a good race and the state champion should meet.
The coach of Richland Center, Ithaca cross country, Eric Midden.
Lots of area runners will be a part of that, including Boschabell's Bodie Bright in Division 3,
Marshall Harris Landcaster, Hillsborough's Dominic Kirkpatrick,
and Prairie Dew Sheen's Sam Kramer.
The Phenomore team will also be involved. They made it as a Division 3 qualifier.
Division two runners include Evan DeBurr and Gabe Engel.
DeBurr of Plattville and Engel of Dodgeville, Mineral Point,
Johnny Robinson of Dodgeville, Mineral Point will run at state.
Also, Austin's team will be in Division 2 qualifying from the same sectionals
as Richland Center Ithaca. Division three girls, including Elisabeth Curtis of Westby,
Royals Caitlin Field, and Bangor is Kenley Golnick.
The Darlington girls team makes it to state,
and Individual Qualifiers in Division 2 for girls.
Peyton Christopher Dodgeville, Mineral Point,
along with Lancaster's Maddie Driscoll and Kylie Olmsted,
River Valley's Molly Mace, and Alia Schwem of Varroqua will run at Wisconsin Rapids coming up on Saturday.
The Richland Valley all conference eight player football teams have been announced.
First team all conference, North Crawford's College of Cobas at quarterback,
Tyler Kismore of Belmont, a running back, along with DeSoto's Austin de Florian,
Landon Blahaw, North Crawford, Cash Carlson of Wanywalk Center, Weston,
and Levi Trutman of Monticello, Wide Receivers,
Cody Cletica of Belmont, and Jackson True Sony DeSoto,
the tight end Gavin Tamling of North Crawford.
All conference center, Trenton Paulson, Belmont,
Kate and North Belmont on the line, along with DeSoto's John Segrove,
Highlands, Tanner Dagenhart, Wanywalk Center, Weston's Trevor Westvall.
All-purpose players, Bryce Schultz of DeSoto, who is also named
all conference first team kicker.
First team defense for the eight player in the Richland Valley,
Gavin Tamling of North Crawford and Highlands, Tanner Dagenhart,
DeSoto's John Segrove on the line, along with Belmont's Trenton Paulson,
Bryce Schultz of DeSoto, Collins of Cobus, and Landon Blahaw of North Crawford,

Kate and Washa, the defensive secondary for Highland,
and Finn Robel of DeSoto, the all conference first team punter.
Second team players include Wyatt Temperley of Belmont at quarterback,

Brady Nanke of Highland, along with Adric Eggy of Kickable of Farge,
North Crawford's Landry Staluka, and Highlands Jack Terrell,

The Trojans are still involved
in the postseason for eight player,
and the assistant coach of the year,
Bill Monts, Matt McKimley.
In the major bowling league,
Lonesome Dove Tavern had the top series,

a 34-21.
