In high school sports today, there was a football game,
Peccatonica had their homecoming game, and in that game,
Riverdale beat Peccatonica R-Gyle by a score of 31 to nothing.
Elsewhere last night, in high school football, a few local scores.
River Valley beat Richland Center in their homecoming game, 28 to 6.
It was Ithaca over in the C-DOT, 43 to 14.
It was Darlington beating Phenomore, 37 to 6.
River Ridge beat Boscowbell, 64 to 6.
And in a player action, Kickpool LaFarge defeated Wisconsin Heights, 28 to 20.
And it was Highland over Waniwak Weston, 30 to 20.
The Golden Eagle Relays took place at the Hickory Grove Golf Course in Phenomore today in cross-country action.
And for the boys, Richland Center Ithaca took first place,
and top finishers for Richland Center Ithaca team,
including Owen Dreyer taking first, Ryan Stadler third, Clayton Leap took fourth,
Robert Budden, he took tense place.
It was Kiernan Colbert taking 12 to Sam Jones, 15th, and Devon Woodhouse took 39th place.
And Phenomore, the host team took second, also Kickpool LaFarge.
They finished seventh place, River Valley finished tenth,
and top finishers for River Valley, including Neeson Hamilton taking 18th,
August Polking Horn taking 64th, and Bennett Woodhouse taking 67th place.
Also, there was Riverdale also took part in the competition as well.
And Clark Jillson took 71st place, and Kalen Williamsson, I'm sorry, he took 73rd.
In girls' cross-country action at the same event, Phenomore,
the host team took first, Richland Center Ithaca took third place,
top finishers include Pearl Fretz at 13th, Able Martin 14th, Adeline Lawless taking 19th,
Rachel Waterfall 44th, and Lacey Albal took 48th.
And for River Valley, they took fourth place, and Molly Maes took fourth,
finished fourth, Aubrey Ann LeCire finished 11th, Reagan Sackett took 39th,
and Kylie Killoy took 45th place.
And of course, Riverdale took place in that tournament as well.
And for Riverdale, Mill and Nees Williamsson finished eighth,
and also Millie Schneider finished 46th, and Kylie Carter finished 51st.
There was also a high school soccer today, Wisconsin Bells,
Beat Mount Horub, 2-1, and Ripon Beat Baraboo, 2-0.
And of course, the Badgers had today offs, but there were a couple big 10 games,
Minnesota beat Rutgers, 31 to 28, and Illinois beat Southern California, 34 to 32.
And the Brewers are looking to clinch that magic number to have the best record in baseball,
came up short yesterday, but they'll have a chance to try to take it again with a,
if they either win tonight, or the Philadelphia loses, and that game will be against Cincinnati tonight,
and game two of the three game series.
The last couple games of the baseball season are going on tonight,
and first pitch for that contest will be at 615,
and you can hear that broadcast on WRC, 107.7, and AM 1450,
with the pregame starting at around 535.
And the Packers will be taking on the Cowboys in Sunday Night Football tomorrow,
the return of Micah Parsons to Dallas, and kick off for that will be at 720,
and you can hear the broadcast right here on WRC 100.9 FM.
