Milwaukee continues to own the best record of the majors at 85 and 52, back in the lineup

to right off Toronto Closer Jeff Hoffman. The Homer was Cheerio's 18th Yellett should have

drive to left on Hoffman's next pitch for his 27th Homer. Hoffman has allowed 14 home runs this season.

Micah Parsons as he just went through the hardest four months of his life as he feared his

contract stalemate with the Cowboys would stretch into the start of the season,

the matter finally was settled with a trade to the Green Bay Packers. Parsons met the media

yesterday in Green Bay. You know, honestly, everything happens for a reason. It's a blessing in

disguise, you know, you know, I may not know how to answer for you yet, but I'm going to figure it out

and I'm going to just keep, I'm going to work hard every day to prove that, you know, the Packers

Organization made the right decision and trusting me. And you know, I'm not carried out with me.

Now the superstar pass rusher wants to create a legacy befitting one of the league's most

storied franchises. He talked about learning more about Reggie White. Reggie is like the one of the

goats. I mean, I'm just looking at his stats. And in fact, he had like 76 and like five years.

It's just like outrageous to me. And this guy's just like this freaking, you know, I didn't even know,

I just learned more history about him today. Just about how he's the first reagent and how he came

here and won championships and yet people make the comparisons. But, you know, I just looked at him

like somebody who won. He came here. He can do that. I think I can do that too. I think I can do

anything I put my mind to. I looked on that wall and I saw a brick farm. I saw Reggie. I saw all

those legends. And I was like, I got to be there. And you know, you go and you go near the draft room

and they're all having their hands up and they having that that moment. I'm looking for that moment.

And you know, I'm going to take advantage of this moment and maximize it to reach that moment.

Mike Aparson, during his press conference in Green Bay yesterday, a person familiar with the

situation says Wisconsin quarterback Billy Edwards, Jr. is considered weak to weak with a

sprained knee after undergoing an MRI following his early departure from the Badgers season opener.

And Julian Sayon had a 40 yard touchdown pass to Carnell Tate early in the fourth quarter.

Ohio State got a couple of key stops in the red zone. And the third ranked Buckeyes

opened the defense of their national championship with a 14-7 victory over top ranked Texas.

It was the fourth time the number one team of the AP preseason pool as met the previous seasons

national champion in the opener. I am Phil Ney with an update on sports.
