The Brewer has dropped the first game of a home series against the pirates last night.

Five four, that snaps a four game winning streak. Milwaukee had wiped out a four two deficit

before the winning run across the plate in the sixth inning. Christian Yelich has his

hot streak continuing after a home run, a single and two RBI's. Nick Mears took the loss

in relief. Manager Pat Murphy talked about Chad Patrick's performance.

Patrick was at Sharp. He did some really good things, but lost the little command there

in the middle with his cutter. But yeah, credit to the pirates the way they swing the bat.

And Murf says there were a lot of factories in this one. Yeah, unusual game, huh? Punch

out 16 or 17 and give up 15 hits and something like that. And every little falls fall by an inch

and Durban steals the base and then overslides and Tarang at first and perfectly placed triple

in the corner by fleet of kind of relief for one of those days. Freddie Peralta tries to weave

in the series when he starts tonight's game elsewhere. It was the comes losing to St. Louis

eight two Atlanta three. The Mets two Washington 10 six over San Diego in the American League.

Baltimore six Texas nothing Seattle 11 Texas and Minnesota two. Also the Angels nine five over

Boston. Inter league play Cincinnati six one over the Yankees and Arizona shut out the white

socks. A score of 10 to nothing. In state sports elsewhere, Packer Safety Xavier McKinney is the

choice of one NFL writer as a potential defensive player of the year. McKinney finished in the top

eight for the award last season. Profitball network reports McKinney had been one of the better

safeties while playing for the Giants. PFN's Jacob and Fonte says Green Bay's defensive standout

took his play to a whole new level when he arrived at Lambo Field. Two Packers have won that

top defensive award in the past Charles Woodson and Reggie White. I am Phil Ne that's an update on sports.
