Muskego is a 7-2 winner over Sun Prairie East. Today at the State baseball tournament, Johnson Creek

Highland at last week's Blair Taylor sectional to get to state and Pichelli will meet Edgar in
the second game of the D4 semifinals. Division 3 begins this afternoon at 2.30, the field is made
up of the Phenomore Golden Eagles who are 25 and 3, they'll play 17 and 5, Kiwani. Second
seeded Phenomore a first time qualifier for the state baseball tournament. They needed an extra
inning to beat Westby 32 in the final of the sectional. They were champions of the SWAL this spring.

Last night in American Legion Baseball, it was West Salem with a win over the Veroku 138ers.
The score was 4-3. The Brewers are second in the National League Central. They will take on the
Cubs who are first in the National League Central tonight. Milwaukee at 39 and 34, the Cubs 44
and 28. They are 23 and 12 overall at home. Milwaukee is 16 and 19 on the road.
South Freelich has 8 doubles, 3 triples and 4 home runs and 26 RBI's while
batting 294 leading the Brewers during a recent win in which they took 3-4 from the Cardinals.
While his teammates open a series at Rigley Field against the Cubs, veteran Brewers pitcher
Brandon Woodruff will try to restart his injury recovery. The team says he will throw a bullpen
session starting today or tomorrow of about 40 pitches at American Family Field. Sports
illustrated reports that could lead to another minor league rehabilitation assignment of a couple
of games. Woodruff has already had two rehab efforts this season. The last one ended when he was
hit on the elbow by a line drive. In baseball last night, National League action saw Colorado
defeat Washington 6-4, Philadelphia 5-2 over Miami, the Dodgers 6 and San Diego 3. In the American
League Tampa Bay 7, Baltimore 1, the Angels won nothing over the Yankees, Boston beat Seattle to
nothing and the Athletics got by Houston final score of 3-1. In basketball news from last night,
exciting stuff for O.K.C., Oklahoma City was a winner over Indiana 120-109. Jalen Williams had
a career or playoff high of 40 points in that game. As the Thunder moved one win from a title
by beating the Indiana Pacers 120-109. There will be game 6 coming up this week on Thursday evening.
Tickets are now on sale for the 24th Packers Family Night in August. That's when the 2025 edition
of the Green Bay Packers will say hello to their fans at Lambo Field, Saturday, August 2nd.
The Packers say doors will open at 5.30, then players take the field for warm-ups at 7 and practice
starts 30 minutes later. As it is every year, the gathering is family focused and it features a
game like practice atmosphere. The Wisconsin men's basketball team rates 10th out of 18 big 10 teams
when it comes to the amount of returning production. The badges are bringing back almost 36% of
their shooting, headed by guard John Blackwell and big man Nolan Winter. UW lost a lot from last
year's roster including all American Wing, John Tanjay, starting guard Max Klesmit,
center Stephen Crawl, and top reserves Kamari McGee, and Carter Gilmore. CBS Sports Reports
Purdue brings back the most production and Maryland and Indiana have no returners who have
contributed and will be back with the team. Arkansas's Gage Wood pitched the third no-hitter in
college World Series history and first in 65 years striking out a record 19 and never letting
Murray State come close to getting a hit. In the Razorbacks three nothing victory would join Jim
Erler of Texas in 1950 and Jim Wixson of Oklahoma State in 1960 as the only pitchers to throw
college World Series no hitters. His defense was never really challenged as he dominated a racer's
team that was making its first Omaha parents. The junior right handers set the CWS record for strikeouts
in a nine inning game. I am Phil Ne that's an update on sports here on WRC OFM 100.9.
