Also Sundays games include Cross Plains at Ashton, Verona at Hollandale, Dodgeville at

Bellville, Pinebluff Mount Hurrah plays at Scholesberg Benton, Argyle at Blanchardville, Mesa

Manie at Sock Prairie, Black Earth at Middleton.

We'll have coverage tomorrow from Arena where the arena aces take on the Muscatty Mudcats.

The Mudcats are managed again this year by Terry Z이birth.

We had a good game last week, we lost by one, but we had our chances, we had runners,

so we had a chance to win that game, now it's against Bellville.

So Argyle said we've been up and down, it's still kind of a rebuild year for us, last

year we're really down, this is rebuilding, and we've got new players and some of the

old ones and it's looking up, it's getting better.

I asked Terry about the matchup.

A good rivalry between the arena and us, because the guys know each other well, a lot of

their guys, half of the team are better played with us before, so it's always a challenge

and they've got a very good team going this year, they're undefeated on Sunday, so it

will be fun and interesting.

Arena managed by Nick Larson, how he talked us about the season so far with the aces.

We're getting off to a real nice start here, got a good group of guys, I've been fortunate

to coach them, most of them since they've been about 12 years old, and it's kind of

coming full circle here, and they're really playing some good ball together and our

pitching is doing well and getting some nice time with Eddie.

Arena has not lost in the Sunday League action so far.

Week 1, we beat Belville, which is always right there at the top of the league, and last

week we went down to Scholesberg, we were both undefeated and back and forth team and

Jennings carried us with his pitching and two home runs and all a good team effort, but

yeah, it's, you know, got Muscatay coming up and a lot of the kids know each other there

and just kind of tell the kids to, you know, don't take it for granted, Muscatay had Belville

on the ropes last Sunday, I believe it was, so the game of baseball and you got to want

to make every play.

Nick Larson of Arena will have coverage of that game tomorrow on WRCO FM 100.9 and

WRC.com as the mudcats play at the aces.

Currently the Brewers are trailing the Cardinals 7-4 in that game.

Milwaukee was a 3-2 winner last night over the Cardinals and they have won the first two

games of the series, but again, currently the Cardinals are leading at the end of the

sixth inning 7-4.

Aaron Savali joined the White Sox today giving the right hand or a day to get to know his

new Chicago teammates before starting for them after being traded from the Brewers.

It's more time that he had last July when he got traded from Tampa Bay to Milwaukee.

His first day in the clubhouse was the same day that he made his debut with them.

Savali was traded Friday the day after the Brewers announced they were removing him from

their rotation and he said he wanted to remain a starter, even if it meant leaving Milwaukee.

He will start for Chicago at Texas on Sunday.

Since an anti-reds left-hander and former Milwaukee Brewer weighed Miley, declined to specifically

address an accusation in court documents of providing drugs to the late Tyler Skags,

a Los Angeles Angels pitcher who died of an accidental overdose in 2019.

Skags died in the team hotel in a Dallas suburb.

His body was found hours before what was supposed to be the start of a series against the

Angels and the Texas Rangers.

Miley says he has never been accused of anything wrong doing and his focus was on pitching

for the Reds this weekend.

The dog days of summer arrived at Nationals Park, Bruce, a 21 month old golden retriever

fetched a bat during a ceremony before the Washington Nationals game against the Miami

Marlins as a part of a pups in the park promotion.

He retrieved bats the last two seasons with the Rochester Red Wings Washington's AAA affiliate.

Bruce wearing a bandana with an MLB debut patch he received when he arrived at the stadium

was presented a commemorative bat.

He then took a route from the dugout toward first base after the Nationals relief pitchers

dropped the bat in foul territory before the bat dog collected his prey.

Contrary to popular belief, not everything was easy for the Oklahoma City Thunder this

season.

They had line up issues at times because of injuries, players had slumps, they're getting

ready to face Indiana again in the next round of playoff action for the NBA finals.

Haylon Clark is ready to play again, meaning the Indiana fever will have their best player

back in time to play the reigning WNBA champion New York Liberty today.

The fever made the less than surprising announcement Friday, Clark missed five games with

a quadriceps injury, then practiced this week with all signs pointed toward her playing

against the undefeated defending champs.

Fever coach Stephanie White says as long as we don't have any regressions, she's going

to be ready to roll.

Former NFL player Antonio Brown is facing an attempted murder charge, stemming from

a shooting that took place during an altercation outside an amateur boxing event in Miami.

According to an arrest warrant, Brown 36 is accused of grabbing a handgun from a security

staffer and firing two shots at a man he had gotten into a fist fight with earlier.

Brown was an all pro receiver who last played in the NFL in 2021 for Tampa Bay, but spent

most of his 12 year career with Pittsburgh.
