Local sports yesterday, Boschabell claimed an 8-7 baseball win over Riverdale in SWAL
action.
It was the second night in a row that the Bulldogs won by that score over the
Chieftains after a makeup game on Monday night ended in similar fashion.
Riverdale trailed four nothing before a five run, third inning.
The Bulldogs tied the game at five before Riverdale jumped ahead seven-five.
A three run, sixth inning gave the visitors enough for the win.
Cameron Loose was three for five and Breyer Wayne had two hits and scored three runs
for Boschabell.
Tyler Miller was two for four with an RBI.
Gunner Wayne doubled among the Bulldogs 12 hits, gauge Wayne pitched five in a third
innings to get the win, while Breyer Wayne finished the game in relief.
Ethan Cagle and Henry Dron both doubled among Riverdale seven hits, Cagle pitched five
innings and struck out 11.
