There were many games called off yesterday in high school sports because of the

inclement weather among them the Richland Center baseball game at home against

Plattville or let's now have a conference game to make up after yesterday's

cancellation. They will be playing on Saturday. I talked to coach Ryan Lemke about

that a couple teams drop out late and then we filled it again and that team

dropped out kind of a rough weekend with prams and other other tournaments

going on so and a couple of rain outs so everything is getting compressed and

teams are picking and choosing what they're going to but we got sock coming

into town. It's good program traditionally. I'm excited. It's a good good test

for our guys so we've got two games against sock on Saturday and it should be

it should be a great weather day it looks like and last year we were rained out

on on the stage so I'm excited to get more games. What time does that start on

Saturday? 9 a.m. 9 a.m. I think Saka I love it. Saka got prom that night but

they're still coming so I I love that attitude this time of the year let's

just play baseball so we're excited 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. probably

tentatively on the second one. Obviously it's no clock and baseball it's a little

hard to tell but yeah definitely 9 a.m. start for the first one. Who's hitting

the ball well for the Hornets right now? 3-0. I think that was my answer last time

as well. We got a lot of guys coming on but Brady Dosh is just seeing beach

balls right now when he's up there it doesn't matter the last of the guy in the

mound doesn't matter the curve ball doesn't matter the other off-speed pitches

he is hammering baseballs with barrel as well as you know our our aggressive

top for order we got co-lossinger he's coming on in a big way three hitters

warming up Jacob McDonald our four hitters warming up Isaac Galb west

Bosworth in the five holes warming up big time so we're in a really good

opportunity to explode here as well as the bottom of our order really just gaining

confidence every single wrap every single pitch thrown to him gaining confidence

putting the ball in play and that's what we just say you put the ball in playing

good things are going to happen.

Bristol Center baseball coach Ryan Lemke is teaming action tomorrow games

that were played last night Weston was a winner against Wozika Souban to

nothing Garrett Jennings got the win on the mound pitching a complete game shut

out on three hits no walks and eight strikeouts a total of nine hits for the

silver Eagles led by Garrett Jennings three for four with two doubles and a

run scored Isaac Jennings two for four with two doubles one RBI and one

run scored Brady Westfall one for four with an RBI Hunter Coy Garrett

Granger and Trevor Westfall all had a hit the pitching again was

outstanding they left ten runners stranded in the game but came on on top

Weston still remains undefeated in Ridge and Valley Conference baseball it

was North Crawford getting the win against Kikapoo for three Prairie Dushin over

Dodgeville six four Iowa Grant beat River Ridge final score and that one was

seven one there was high school softball yesterday Richland Center and was

up after being postponed last night lots of action tomorrow including as we

mentioned the Richland Center baseball team is home RC softball hosts a

tournament and the Richland Center soccer team will be hosting a tournament

action all contest getting underway at nine o'clock tomorrow and the Richland

Center golf team will be at River Valley coach Mike Davis looks forward to the

event for the Hornets great course we're gonna do the invite on Saturday and

then we go right back on Tuesday for the conference one you know and we'll

see which which sets of holes they have a golf you know they got three three

nine's out there but you know like it's a great course it's tight you know you

know and the kids like playing there and I understand you're kind of really

conditioning diversity trying to get to 18 holes and kind of it's a different

I guess strategy when you go all 18 is it yeah we we have found that you know

we played a lot of nine hole events you know and that's kind of like playing

in half of a game because when you get to the regionals and sectionals and

and and that sort of thing you know it's it's a 18 hole event and you know it's

it's just a different mind frame I mean you can have a bad hole and you got

17 more holes you know and just the ability to pace yourself you know and you

know it's a long walk and and you're carrying a bag and you know it's it's

big mental thing and we decided this year as a group that we like want to try

that so hopefully it pays off for us that's Richland center high school golf

coach Mike Davis his team among the many at the River Valley invite tomorrow at
