Here's a look at local sports today on the schedule. Of course, weather permitting.

There's a lot of rain out there today in Southwest Wisconsin. Weston with a conference game.

It was Eka Stuban in the region Valley and kick up who at North Crawford in baseball and softball.

Ithaca baseball and softball scheduled to play in stuttered against do Soto and there is a track

event going on today at Cuba City Riverdale slated to be there. The Riverdale baseball team is

home against Potosi while the softball team hits the road against Southwestern. For River Valley,

baseball today at home against landcaster Wisconsin Heights will be hosting soccer and the River

Valley softball team slated to play in McFarland. Richland Center today with golf action the

Southwest Conference meet which was postponed rescheduled from April 24th to today in Prairie

there's also soccer action. Richland Center hosting Logan the Richland Center softball team is

at was Eka Stuban and the Richland Center baseball team scheduled to play against plantville at home.

I asked coach Ryan Lemke about how the team has been playing lately.

We've been playing good baseball. We've been playing really good baseball coaching staff and I are

super impressed with with the team and with the guys and their positivity and their attitudes as far

as season. We lost a heartbreaker at Dodgeville on Friday in the eighth four to three and just a great

baseball game that didn't go our way and extra innings and that's the way the game goes sometimes

and then played well against a good lacrosse of Logan team yesterday dropped it four to two but

played good baseball. A couple things that we need to clean up and work on but that's to be

expected for this time but we've got the heart of the conference schedule coming up so we're excited

to hit that running right now. Yeah that's that's all it matters is the conference and as you play

plantville it'll be the month of May so it's it's kind of like playoff time almost isn't it? Yeah

exactly it's getting there and it's wild to think like we're you know just about the halfway

point maybe a little further along than that but a lot of baseball we played in the last month or

so and we anticipate to make some noise here. We're excited about what's coming up we're excited

with our team our our pitchers are exceeding expectations right now and we're we're in a really

good spot and I think I can speak for the rest of the coaching staff and the team is we just

want to play games that we just want to play and play and play and play and practices are great

always things to work on but these guys are game mode right now and I think that's you're seeing

that that Missouri trip earlier in the spring payoff dividends right now.

Merchants Center doing battle today they'll be taking on plantville of course whether

permitting that's our featured game on fm 100.9 and wrco.com alumni basketball is going on

Saturday the w Richland basketball men's and women's teams will be represented with a whole

bunch of alumni coming back to play in those games looking underway at 11 I talked to Liz

of the Richland campus alumni association unfortunately we lost that piece of our community

however as long as we've got players it's my understanding we're going to keep doing this event

because you know we all have this deep rooted connection to that place and to the campus and so

we want to make sure that those alumni that show up every year keep showing up the teams will be

getting set to play on Saturday morning. It's going to be in the community center

gymnasium and same type of deal the women kickoff at 11 men either immediately following around

12 30 we've had a bigger gap in the past but we've kind of found hopefully that sweet spot this year

you know get the women's game done and then do the warmups for the men and just kind of help the

day move along. If players have not registered they certainly can do so the day of the event

a lot of memorabilia has been taken from the Richland campus gym trophies and plaques and other

things and that will be available as well for anybody interested starting Saturday morning.

We have a lot of sports memorabilia that we were able to retrieve from the campus uniforms plaques

trophies all of those things and we want the alumni to have that especially the alumni that played

right because that's a unique part of the culture there and so we want to be able to give you

know if we had championship trophies we know we want somebody on the championship team to have it

you know that way they can maybe share it with the team right you know however they want to do that

but you know a lot of that stuff is going to be first come first serve we're not going to be

reserving anything for anybody and because that just makes it really complicated unfortunately

and the plan is to do a disbursement of the uniforms trophies and sports memorabilia on that day

you can come anytime while we're there the registration for the women's basketball game does

start at 1030 so we're going to have the sports memorabilia hopefully kind of set up in some sort

of organized fashion we did do an inventory so we do have some checklists of you know kind of

what's available so people can look ahead they don't have to dig through every tote it's amazing

that we were able to get those items and be able to hopefully give them back to alumni so

starts at 1030 we're hoping to be wrapping up almost everything game included by about 330 just

with that space in the venue we got to be out by a specific time so we want to make sure that

we have time to to put everything back into the totes and storage and whatnot that's Liz

Diedelhoff again the action coming up on Saturday morning tip off time at 11 for the women's

alumni game and the men's game will follow post game arguments weren't even settled on the court

before the story started multiple NBA analysts say the bucks will have to trade superstar

Janis out to the Kumpo even if he doesn't demand it the fact that the team's other superstar

point guard Damien Lillard will miss most or all of next season seems to make a reset necessary

the Milwaukee front office doesn't have any draft capital to trade Brook Lopez and Bobby

Portis are free agents and there's not a lot of talent to build around general manager John

Horace Tesson given any indication of what steps he is considering from the NBA playoffs last

night Houston defeated golden state 131 116 and Minnesota over the LA Lakers 103 to 96

outfielder Jake Bauer is doubled with the bases loaded to give the brewers a lead they would hold

on to in Wednesday 6 4 win at Chicago and the brewers have won three in a row Jared Caning got

the win in relief and Trevor Miguel knocked it down with the ninth inning performance is third

save the brewers go for a sweep of the series beyond rookie Chad Patrick this afternoon against the

white socks elsewhere in the American League Detroit seven Houston four Seattle nine three over

the angels Cleveland four Minnesota two Kansas City three nothing over Tampa Bay Baltimore five the

Yankees four Toronto seven six over Boston and the athletic seven one over Texas in the

National League St. Louis six nothing over Cincinnati Colorado two Atlanta one the Dodgers 12 seven

over Miami San Diego five San Francisco three St. Louis nine one over Cincinnati Philadelphia seven

Washington two Pittsburgh four three over the Cubs and Arizona was a winner against the Mets

final score of four three in that Pittsburgh Cubs game a scary moment as a fan fell 21 feet

from Clemente wall in right field is right after in your McCutcheon hit a two run double in the

seventh inning players began waving frantically for medical personnel the fan was 10 to 2 for

approximately five minutes by members of both the pirates and Cubs training staffs as well as

P. N. C. personnel before being removed from the field on a cart players could be seen praying

and also McCutcheon held across that home from his neck while the fan was taken off the field

it sounds like a former star player for the Badger women's basketball team has made the big time
