Today in high school softball, Ithaca was involved in the Royal Triangular and they won

both games. 11, 7 and game 1, the winning pitcher was JC Maxwell, leading hitters for

the Bulldogs. Holly King was two for two with an RBI and two doubles. Kelsey Coleman,

one for two with an RBI. Kaley New Kirk, one for two with an RBI and a double. And

Jaden Bolin was two for three with an RBI. Kaley Manning had a big pinch hit RBI single

in the fourth to get a rally going for the Bulldogs.

Game two saw Ithaca slip by Milrose, Wenduro, five four, Ariana Lewis, the winning pitcher,

Emma Severson, suffered the loss. Holly King was three for four with an RBI. Jaden Bolin

was two for three and Kelsey Coleman, one for two with an RBI for the Bulldogs who took

two today. In baseball, Readsburg, 12, nothing over on Alaska and Westby was a victory against

whitewater by a final of four three elsewhere in sports today. It looks like kind of a tough

start to the playoffs for the Milwaukee Bucks as they fell to the Pacers, 117, 98. As

the Pacers take a one nothing lead in the best of seven first round series, Indiana led

by as many as 28 and fended off a charge that got the Bucks within 12, midway through

the third quarter by holding the Bucks to only three points over the final five minutes

and 24 seconds. Two time league MVP on a sounds at a Cumpo led the Bucks with 36 points

and 12 rebounds, but the Pacers held him to just what assists. Bucks, Alistar, Gardemian,

Lillard, sat out. Again, as he tries to get back to the lineup. Christian Yellowstone

in three rounds and Caleb Durbin had two hits in his major league debut to lead the Brewers

to a five three victory over the athletics last night. Freddie Peralta threw 93 pitches

and allowed seven hits and five shut out innings for the Brewers. Trevor Miguel with the final

two outs for his second save athletics starter J T Ken with a one in one record gave up three

runs on four hits pitching four and a third innings with seven strikeouts. The teams

will play again tonight 535 free game time on WRC E FM 107.7 and AM 1450 Minnesota twins

right hander Justin Topa was to make his big league debut start against the Braves after

102 relief appearances right hander Simeon Woods Richardson who had been announced as the

probable starter could pitch behind Topa in what was expected to be a bullpen game. Topa

34 entered on one with a 135 ERA and seven relief outings and six and two thirds innings.

He is pitched in six seasons for Milwaukee Seattle and Minnesota as well.

The Celtics begin their quest to repeat his NBA champions when the East Second Seed

host the seventh seed Orlando Magic. No team has won back to back NBA championships since

the Golden State Warriors did it in 2016 and 17 and 17 and 18. The Celtics are in good

position to end the repeat drought coming off their second straight 60 win season. There

is one big question mark for the Celtics entering the postseason, which is the health

of last season's conference finals MVP Jalen Brown was a lingering right knee issue. Brown

has been a full participant in practices getting ready this week. LaSandra Barrett has

been hired as a women's basketball assistant at Iowa taking the position vacated when

Raina Harmon left two weeks ago to become head coach at Florida golf coast. The 35-year-old

Barrett has been an assistant at Georgia Tech the past three seasons and was the yellow

jackets recruiting coordinator for the past year. The Boston Marathon and Mayor Michelle

Wu and says that international runners and other foreign visitors remain welcome in

the city. They say there is no evidence that travel for this year's race has fallen

off in the face of increased border scrutiny. We've said at the public safety media briefing

not far from the finish line, we seek to be a home for everyone. This year's marathon

is more than 30,000 entrants from 128 countries. US tourism officials say international visits

have plummeted because of rhetoric over tariffs and talk of annexing Canada. Race officials

say they will not know if no shows are up after the start. That's an update on sports,
