I'm filming it with sports. There was high school softball in the area last night.

Also in soccer coming up tonight, first match of the year, for River Valley's soccer team,
they'll be hosting Columbus on Mueller pitch kickoff time 5 o'clock today.
There's softball today, including Southwestern of Potosi Castville,

Belmont at Landcaster, and Adams Friendship at Lodi. Port Edwards travels to New Lisbon.
Riverdale's softball team is at North Crawford. Pecatanica at Plattville, Verokwa is at Royal
and Pointette, plays at River Valley. See, home opener for the River Valley softball team.
In baseball today, Barnavale at Landcaster and Cashton at LaFarge.
It's Brookwood at Blair Taylor, Prairie Dushin at Cubicity.
Shoesburg, Benton at Darlington, Verokwa at Holman.
Highland travels to Iowa Grant. It's Dodgeville at Belville,
Lodi at Wisconsin Dells, Wonywalk center at North Crawford, Phenomore at Plattville,
Port Edwards at New Lisbon. It's also action today for the Ithaca Bulldogs,
opening up the season against Potosi Castville. Whether permitting this afternoon,
we'll have a game on WRC-OFM 100.9 and WRC-O.com. Coach Dan Clary talked about a tough
schedule for the Bulldogs to start the season. We got some good ones coming up. We got a good
contest against Potosi Castville coming in two tonight. I know there were a young team last year
and really kind of came on the second half of the season, so that should be a really good
contest. Then we go right into Conference Play Thursday night against our really
experienced and tough Seneca team. There are team that I'm expecting is going to be right
up the top of the conference. That's going to be a good one. Then we go to
Cashden on Saturday. It's just going to be bang, bang, bang. Hopefully the weather holds out
so we can get those games. Staying on schedule definitely is a huge factor and just kind of
keeping things moving nicely. The million dollar question is, I was the pitching
good to be here early on in the year. We should be good. We got some kids that have put in some
solid endings in the past couple of years. We have Sammy, Devon, Wes have all put in some quality
time on the mountain for the past couple of years. We should be good that way. They've been putting
in time, getting their arms worked out. They should be good. The Bulldogs in terms of a number
of people that you have back this year. Quite a few from last year, right?
Yeah, we do. 25 guys total came out. Of course, we graduated the three seniors, four or five seniors,
three that were on the field quite a bit. We got to fill those holes. But we have nine seniors.
This year, seven juniors. There's quite a few of them that's seen quite a bit of playing time.
I think seven of them were on that team in 2023. And like I said, there's a lot of depth
in the young grades too. So that's going to be a huge advantage and we're hoping to kind of lean
on teams using as many guys as we can. I know last year you would have liked to have gotten
farther in the tournament. Do you think that motivates the team this year? I hope so. But you know,
that's what I told the guys last year. What they accomplished on a 20 and two season last year.
Yes, the season ended early. But I think they had went at that point in time. I think they've won on
24 game winning streak. Which is just incredible. 24 and two or something like that. And
13 of those games were against teams that had been ranked during the season and then in the
game of baseball, you know, sometimes the ball bounces your way. Sometimes it doesn't. And that night
it just didn't bounce our way. It just goes to show how special some of those seasons that have
been in the past, but those guys last year had nothing to hang their heads about. That was an
incredible season. But yeah, the guys are definitely motivated to do have good season this year.
And like I said, I know they're anxious to get out and get going. Our pregame time today will
hit around 445 with the radio 5 o'clock first pitch time from Ithaca, Patosi at Ithaca and keep
it tuned here for any schedule changes or time changes for those games today, which then

Elsewhere in sports NFL owners are expected to vote on banning the so-called
Tush push at the league meetings in West Palm Beach Florida this morning reports indicate
discussions of the change have led to heated words among the league's coaches general managers
and owners. Green Bay initiated the proposal now before the competition committee and ESPN reports
that worries about injuries and the pace of play have been cited that same report notes that
no injuries have been connected to the Tush push so far. Page beckers carried Yukon to its record
