Damien Lillard took over with Yannis Ante de Coupos sideline scoring 43 points Sunday
afternoon in a 135-127 win over Philadelphia.
The score was tied more than 20 times, but the box pulled away in the second half at one
point they led by 25.
Gary Trent Jr. added a season I-23, Milwaukee put up season highs in point scored, three
pointers and field goal attempts.
The box play a back-to-back series with a game tonight, the Golden State Warriors visit
five serve forum.
Here is Dame Lillard.
I think I hit my first two-three, so obviously that's a good sign.
You hit those couple of threes, you feel good, you see the ball go in early, but even then
I didn't feel like, oh, I got it going.
I just think the rhythm of the game would play with good pace.
The ball was moving, it was just a good flow to the game, so I felt good because of the
flow of the game, but I wouldn't say it was a game that I just felt like, oh, I'm rolling,
I didn't feel that way.
Over the weekend, big games by team leaders Cam Jones and David Joplin weren't enough to
keep Marquette from dropping a third straight, Big East Conference game, 77, 67.
And the Badgers closed Saturday's game in Iowa on a 16-4 run to claim victory for
the third straight game.
John Tanja scored 11 of those 16 points and led Wisconsin with 22.
The 74-63 decision keeps the Badgers in fourth place in the Big 10, UW defenders held
the Hawkeyes to just one field goal over the final seven and a half minutes of the game.
Iowa has dropped five of its last six, Wisconsin returns to action at Purdue on Saturday.
The Badger women's team lost to Illinois yesterday, 74-51.
Well, the Badgers Agbon helped lead the way on defense for the Eagles, he talked about
getting a pick in last night's Super Bowl.
It's special, it's special, and something I've been working out for years, my coverage
skills, and to have it pay off in this big of a moment, it's crazy, I'm proud of myself.
The Eagles routed the Chiefs 40 to 22 to secure the franchise's second Super Bowl championship.
Jalen Hertz threw for two touchdowns and ran for a score as well.
Coach Nick Seriani says that Jalen Hertz keeps getting better.
He just keeps getting better, he knows how to win.
He does a great job of being able to block out all the outside noise.
I think it's, I find it funny when it's like, well, Jalen is good, he's got a good team
around him.
That's football, you cannot be great without the greatness of others.
The defense was great yesterday for the Eagles, led by Coach Vic Fangio, and the Eagles
didn't need much of a day from Sequan Barkley as their defense led the way in the victory
against the Chiefs 40 to 22, the final game of the season for the NFL.
And I'm Filney with sports.

Love the call of that boys game coming up tonight on WRC Radio.
Coach Chris Kenyon talked about playing Phenomore previously on Thursday night,
and then turning around and playing him again, and how tough that is.
It can be tough. I've seen situations like this over the years where a team will
really take it to a team on one day, and then a few days later they play.
It's a pretty tight game, and obviously that's what we're hoping for. You don't have to spend
a whole lot of time scouting. We had practice on Friday, so the things that didn't go well
for us on Thursday, we were able to focus on that in practice, and hopefully we correct those
things tonight. That's coming up this evening, pregame time around 715 on FM100.9 and WRCO.com,
and then it's Phenomore at Riverdale, Boys Basketball. I'm Phil Me.
Though Wisconsin Badgers moved up five spots from number 21 to number 16 on this week's

10 for the first time since finishing the 1999 through 2000 season at number nine. Yukon, the
two-time defending national champion, has dropped out of the pole after being ranked at
being ranked at 53 weeks. A sweep over the arch rival Minnesota golfers powered Badgers women's
hockey team to their 10th WCHA regular season title. The top spot was clinched Saturday in an
eight to two win. Then Sunday, six to one win by the Badgers was icing on the cake.
Casey O'Brien had three goals in those two games and Wisconsin's winning streak has reached 17.
Saturday's eight goals are the most scored against the goalfers by UW in more than seven years.
Damian Lillard took control with Yannis onto the cuposide line scoring 43 points yesterday
afternoon in a 135 to 127 win over Philadelphia. The score was tied more than 20 times,

added a season high 23. Milwaukee put up season highs in points scored three pointers,
field gold jumps, and the Bucks play a back-to-back as they play tonight when the Golden State Warriors
visit Fizer Forum. Atlanta guard Trey Young is headed to the NBA All-Star Game after all.
Commissioner Adam Silver announced today that he has added Young to the All-Star roster as an
injury replacement for Milwaukee forward. Yannis onto Tukupo, who will not be able to play because
of a calf injury. Young was originally displeased when he was not picked for the game through the
balloting for the starters or the coach's selections of reserve players. Also today,
Kyrie Irving was selected as an All-Star replacement for his injured Dallas teammate, Anthony Davis.
Milwaukee Brewers have unveiled a patch that they will wear on their uniform this season to honor
longtime broadcaster Bob Euker following his death last month at the age of 90. The patch will
appear on the sleeve of the Brewers uniforms. It features Euker's signature over a golden navy
plaid print to honor the various sports codes he arrayed or occasionally wore. Euker died on
January 16th. He had completed his 54th season of broadcasting Brewers game last year as he
battled small cell lung cancer. The Brewers planned to hold a public celebration of his life
honoring Euker sometime this year. Details will be announced later.
And the NFL offseason won't last long. By the time the Philadelphia Eagles complete their
victory parade on Friday, it'll be less than two weeks until the scouting combined kicks off
in Indianapolis. Free agency follows on March 10th with the two-day negotiating period. The
annual league meeting starts March 30th. The seven teams with new head coaches may open
offseason workout programs on April 7th and the remaining 25 teams can follow two weeks later.
Then it's time for the NFL draft on April 24th in Green Bay. Some of the league's offseason
priorities include player health and safety and conversations about potential new rules,
including reviewing kickoffs, following a one-year experiment with dynamic changes.
